Fujiyama Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

Easily the best sushi that I've found in Jackson! And the fried oyster appetizer? Yum! And definitely enough for an entree...add in vegetable tempura and you have a really great meal! I have no idea what the dipping sauce is for the oysters, it couldn't be more different from cocktail sauce, but it is excellent...dang! Now I am hungry and nothing will do but the above mentioned meal!

The resturant was cluttered, quite old looking, crowded furniture wise. The older waitress was just done. She was rude, actted as if we were ruining her date with the guy sitting at the sushi bar and wanted no part of any questions. She offered no charm, and frankly made us get up to leave. The younger server was pleasant and just had a sweet aura about her. The guy cooking our food... He was friendly, engaging, caring and fun. He cooked the toddler with us a scrambled egg, made us all smile, and was engaging with everyone he met. The food was good. Good portion. Pricey. My spouse said his sushi was good. But he could have something better about the same price elsewhere.
