West Point Lounge

Joe & his staff went above & beyond today for a private party for my husband's "retirement". With approximately 100 people there, they were very attentive & timely in taking & delivering food & drink orders. I've always said that they have the best "bar food" in town & their burgers are phenomenal!!! Highly recommend!!!

Went on Saturday night, was greeted by a waitress and the cook practically yelling at us, “We’re all out of burgers and chicken breasts”. This place is known for their burgers - too bad they didn’t know enough to stock up for a Saturday night! As it turned out, it didn’t matter; we were waiting for one person before we ordered who wasn’t going to arrive until 9:00. At 8:40 we were told if we wanted to eat, we needed to order cause they were closing at 9:00! I told the waitress I had checked online and they were supposed to be open until 10:00. Her response was, “Well, we’re not tonight! The cook called it and we’re closing at 9.” We left.

I found this place on maps and saw that they had a special that spoke to me, Monday bogo hotdogs and coney's. So I. Figure let's check it out. Well I've now been twice and both times the employee's have been friendly and the food is pretty good. I like the coneys and regular hotdogs. They actually grill them unlike other places which is in my opinion a great thing. Also the onions are chopped and not diced to a paste almost. The fried mushrooms are good as well. Can't speak for any other food since that's all I've had so far. The beer prices are pretty reasonable plus they have a full bar and again did I mention how friendly the staff is? Anyway long story short it's definitely becoming my Monday hangout spot for the time being. 👍
