Mr. Taco

I recently put a review on today because I was upset about the incident with the food truck on Phillips. If you read my previous review, I basically waited an hr for them to open only for them to tell me they don't open until 5 and did not make my order when the website said 3:30. I went to the restaurant on Bowden and spoke with the most pleasant lady at the restaurant. I explained what happened. She was engaging, she took notes and she immediately apologized. She even called her GM in front of me to address the issue. GM offered my food for free due to the inconvenience. I appreciate the diligence with correcting the issue even though I wasn't looking for a free meal. Just wanted the establishment to know being I'm a regular customer. My husband and I love you guys steak nachos so we wer very pleased to have this reconciled because we didn't want to find a new fav! SIDE NOTE: FOOD TRUCK ON PHILLIPS OPENS AT 5PM. GOOGLE STILL NEEDS TO UPDATE THEIR HOURS😉 THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Came here on a Tuesday and got the Tuesday special (quesadilla and drink). Delicious, photo added! They made our food super quickly (which was great because we were on a lunch break). And we will definitely be back to try other food! Update: came back two days later and this time I got the bean & cheese nachos and the hibiscus drink, both were delicious 10/10 would recommend both. Haven't had tacos for a while. It's hard to find the right quality for the right price. Usually it's 3 tacos for 10 bucks and no drink included. I was hungry as hell today so I basically surrendered and was willing to pay anything just to get a bite. I walked into Mr. Taco and I wasn't amazed. The restaurant itself is dead, could use some life, good music and better set up. Anyway I saw a "todays special" sign 4 tacos plus a drink for $9. I thought it was a deal. I ordered my 2 chicken 2 beef tacos. Got the works included. I paid $9.67. I took my order to go and got in my car and when I opened up the tacos I was pretty amazed. They were plated nicely, they gave ne green, red salsa and limes. Perfect. I put salsa on my tacos plus pico de Gallo and they were pretty good. Not dry or tasteless.. I enjoyed that. Thank you. I recommend whatever the special may be...idk about everything else
