Golden Corral

Absolutely the best value on the market after 2 o’clock in the afternoon for a senior citizen. I’ve been coming to this location for about 17 years and it continues to improve and the quality of the food and service do the same. They have now began to post calories in a serving size which I think is incredibly helpful I think it would be wonderful if they would put carbs in a serving size on their placard as well. I’m sorry to say I haven’t been here in probably over a year but now that I’m trying to drop about 40 pounds into low-carb green vegetables and either chicken or fish which they have plenty of. Give them a try.

I snuck away from the kids and grands to have a little time to myself to eat uninterrupted. I had not been to the Golden Coral on Southside Blvd before. The cashier greeted me with a smile as I came in to pay. The waitress was very attentive and did not allow dishes to pile up ( I did not have much- but what I did have she picked up right away.). The atmosphere was pleasant and the restaurant was clean and did not smell. A great plus! I will definitely go back.

This golden corral is really clean! The food is nice and the service is great. We even went later in the night and the staff was still chipper! I suggest you give this place a gander when you have the chance. Good food, good service and family friendly! Update: Still very friendly staff but the veggies are always overcooked.

It was real good and fresh tasting. The pot roast is my favorite. The steak was good. I am a new Diabetic, the desert lady recommended blueberry pie. But, the restaurant itself looked like the garbage cans could of been taken out. I like the hand sanitizer in the front and the thermometer to take my temperature, not to mention the gloves to use for safety.

I must say for the $14.99 Senior Special you get a lot of good food for the money. First Bill is always thankful to Golden Corral for there support and free meal on Veterans Day...that alone gives them 100 🌟. Now this visit was well run and clean with GC observing almost all CDC guidelines. After paying we found our clean booth and began our food trip. Salad Bar is excellent with plenty of choices. Entree area was clean and well stocked with Fried Chicken being a standout. The Prime Rib was rather rare but if you want they will grille it to your required taste. Lots of other choices from Pizza to Shrimp to meatloaf to almost anything else. Plenty of sides from Green Beans to Corn to Mushrooms and more. Don't pass the make it yourself Taco area you will love it. The Desert area is a Sugar lovers place that has over 20 choices...what's not to like. This is a real casual place but during these times well worth your time but make sure you come hungry.😋 By the way Floria our table person did an outstanding job cleaning up our as well as several other tables as dishes needed to be removed, drinks refilled and tables cleaned.
