Definitely loved the young adults who served us the day after Thanksgiving, she was polite and helpful , loved the portions of oxtail and peas n rice along with their recipe style of cabbage and mixed vegetables together wonderful 😋 I only had the oxtail but I will definitely be back to try their jerk chicken and etc.

The BEST food I've had in Jacksonville!! It was exactly what I had the taste for, and it did not disappoint. The oxtail was falling off the bone, and the mac and cheese was almost as good as my sister's (and hers is to die for...like no kidding). Rice and peas were perfect. The amount of food for the price...yeah...I'm DEFINITELY going back!

Outstanding Jamaican food. The best i've had in JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA. VERY CLEAN, friendly, respectful environment. The food is cooked just right. The way the food is prepared and served will take you to the island of jamaica itself. Yeh Mon. What are you waiting for? Not too expensive...I was surprised at the pricing of the menu. Get on over to the ISLAND TROPICS RESTAURANT..NOW!! LOVE,UNITY & PEACE

This is my top favorite place to eat at. The staff is always friendly when I go inside, I’ve found some great drinks inside, but the food and the overall feeling of the business is what keeps me as a customer. The flavors are a prize within itself. My last visit here was June/2 and I ordered the brown stew Snapper🤩🤩🤩 best decision.

By far better than Caribbean 🌅 down the street. They have improved greatly. I will return whenever I get hungry for island flavor again. May 2023 post. The only downside is parking not so good.

Love this place and girls behind counter are super sweet! I love the Rice & Peas & Cabbage! My husband is a huge fan on the Oxtail! Portions are generous and priced fair!

This is my favorite spot. I order fresh from the kitchen and they’re jerk shrimp spicy just don’t miss. Baby girl wanted jerk chicken. Her plate alone was enough to easily feed 3 adults. Service and conversations are always pleasant and homey. The reggae jams make you want to dance as you wait for your food. Ladies if ur looking for an island boy (lol not like those rappers) this is a pretty good spot to find them 😂 Thank me later.

The food is delicious! The gravy on the oxtails was perfect! I also got the jerk chicken with bbq sauce and Mac and cheese… the flavors of the food were bomb! This lil hole in the wall is LIT 🔥. I’m going back to try the curry shrimp next! This is a large oxtails and a small chicken meal!
