Dude this place rocks! 100% go here get your house made Kimchi (which is amazing) and then get all of the other ingredients you need. Dude, I was here the other day I wanted to bust out some Kimchi Jjigae to impress myself and realized that I needed a rice maker, bro! They got it! I got myself a sweet little cuckoo rice maker. Love shopping here even if it takes me 30min to drive here. So worth it! Everyone there is super helpful as well.

I absolutely love shouting out New World Food Mart. It’s literally the best Korean restaurant in Jax and it’s tucked inside of a Korean grocery store. It’s cash only and the menu is super limited but it does have the staples for your heart’s content. Most menu items are $10. This is hands down the best value in Jax for kfood. This same meal at the Korean restaurant next door is double the price. I ordered the soondooboo jjigae which had a nice amount of seafood, egg and silken tofu. It’s the perfect dish for the rainy weather we’ve had recently. Skip Gangnam, skip Kim’s, skip Samwon and all of the others. If you aren’t making your own, and are craving Kfood, New World Market is the best you’re going to get in Jax period.

Haven't lived here long so veryyyyy excited to find this lovely place!! I bought 2 kinds of kim chi and they had spicy fish cake!! Also bought kim bop! I grew up on Korean food and they have all you need to prepare it or just eat it including a small cafe in the back!! Also very friendly and nice so those hater reviews can kick rocks! Asians are naturally more calm in demeanor it don't mean nothing bad! Some folks just like to complain 🙄 Anywho will definitely be back!!

One word is Wow! If you enjoy Asin foods This will surely delight. The prices are excellent. The Kim Chi selection is impressive, I got the Bok Choy and almost grabbed the cucumber assortment. The taste is fantastic. The store contains modern staples for preparation of Asian food. Limited assortment of vegetables but great household kitchen supplies. Such a mixed variety of offerrings from a great selection of sliced meats, to shoes to outdoor plants. The fresh sushi was a treat to see here.

True hidden gem! Tucked in the back of this great Asian market off Beach Blvd is this sweet lady making your favorite Korean dishes. I can’t wait to return and count the days every time we come! This place has a hidden garden in the back and uses fresh produce to create works of art that taste amazing. Flavor profile is off the chart! I love to watch her work her magic and the best part, it’s reasonably priced. She only accepts cash and you can shop for other culinary delights while you are they. We just can’t get enough! Market has a great selection and everyone there is so nice. Expand your palette and show this place some love! Local family owned and operated.

I’ve been shopping here for years, the owner (usually at the register) is extremely friendly and will go out of his way to help you plan for your meal- give suggestions, advice, etc. great knowledge of Korean, Japanese, and authentic Chinese cuisine. If you haven’t already, get a meal from the nice Korean lady at the counter. Best Korean food since ive been in korea.
