Neshaminy Creek Brewing's Borough Brewhouse

They now cook in house.... And the food is great! The Bavarian pretzel is enough for a meal. The rest seem fresh and more upscale barfood with a base of staples, not to mention brunch on Sundays. They have an extensive beer list from around the local area and across the country. every wed they have a new "fun" burger, but you can't go wrong with the borough burger. Trivia night in Thursdays are fun for groups.

Have been dying to come to the Brewhouse ever since I checked out NCBC in Croydon— finally made it there today and was not disappointed. Atmosphere is awesome- perfect mix of airy, casual, fun, and funky- exactly what you’d expect from NCBC. Very clean and rustic and a great spot to bring friends, dates, or kids (they have books and games!) Service was top notch. Super attentive and friendly, our server was happy to suggest awesome drinks, beers, and food items. Drinks- not only is the beer AWESOME (the new cherry berlinerweisse is to die for), they have some really inventive cocktails too. Especially loved the cafe jawn - the combo of coffee, condensed milk, and booze was on point. Food- we tried a variety of menu items and each one was better than the next. The menu is eclectic and has everything from bar food (tacos, wings, burgers) to more sophisticated options (chickpea falafel, Mexican street corn, and some SLAMMING dessert). This place is 1000% worth a visit!

Loved it! Great food and great drinks with a great attentive server with a smile. The only thing is parking is hard but it's worth it. I live in philly and came here for the 1st time but will deff be back. The chicken pot pie, pretzels and the fish tacos were bomb! Oh and thursday is trivia night so its super loud but fun.

For the pros, the beer and actual space were awesome. No complaints there and if this was the only part of the review it would be 5 stars. We went last night and a couple of things - service was absolutely horrible. The space was maybe 1/3 full and it took our server 30-45 minutes to get to our table each time. We sat with empty beer and water glasses forever. She never asked if we wanted food we had to ask as she was walking away to take our order. When she promised to bring silverware and never did I went to the bar because I knew it would be too long until we saw her again.The only time she was quick was when *of course* we asked for the check.. The food was also sub par. We got the Royale burger which is the burger that apparently is voted best for that week. The patties were way smaller than the bun and everything we thought would come with it or taste good really fell flat. Our friend got the beet salad and for $12 got a salad with canned sliced beets. My recommendation would be to go for the beer and sit at the bar.

Atmosphere is great. Great staff. We had to wait for approximately 20 minutes to be seated (even though there were over a handful of tables opened). Beer is good. The only issue I have is my wife ordered the mussels and she said they were pretty bland. I ordered the Brewhouse burger with salad and had to wait an additional 15 minutes after my wife received her food. By that time, my wife finished her dinner as I was just receiving mine. To top this off, the salad came with no dressing.

I had dinner here for the first time with my family Tuesday night. Our waitress, Megan, did a phenomenal job. She was friendly, efficient & had us out in time for our movie at the theater next door. I had the Brewhouse burger, which they cooked perfectly (mid rare). It was one of the best I’ve had in a while- juicy, nicely seasoned & the sauce it’s topped with was delicious. The fries were crispy & also nicely seasoned (didn’t need to use ketchup). Only other thing I tried was my mom’s buttermilk chicken sandwich, which I would definitely order another time (tasted great & had a little spicy kick to it). Everyone else in our party was happy with their meal as well. The place also had a great atmosphere & vibe. They have local bands (mostly jazz were advertised) on Saturday nights, which I would love to check out sometime.
