Hooters

Came on a Tuesday night with seven other friends. The place was packed when we got in and the host told us she could not seat us together in one table and offered to give us the only two tables by the bar that was available. We even opted to be seated outdoors, but when we hot there, we decided to ho back indoors because of the humidity, that when a high table for six became available. The host said they can add more stools to fit us all. I've been dining at hooters a lot, including the one in Aurora and in Downers Grovel, but I say, hands down, the girls here are very courteous and friendly and treat you like they've known you a long time. I thought hooters only had two kinds of wings: Mild and Spicy, until my friend ordered five kinds of wings, and all of them were delicious! I wonder if it's only available in this location. We had pitchers of refreshing Mango Cart beer.. One disappointment though. They had no Oysters. DId they take this out of the menu? They offered clams, and out of curiosity, we ordered it., It was overcooked, chewy tough, and overpriced. Makes me think of the unlimited clams at the nearby Japanese buffet. Nevertheless, I'll pick this location among the three near me because of the professionalism of the staff.

We ordered by phone and it was answered promptly. The young lady was very pleasant even though the place is very busy. She asked time slot when we’re getting there.Waited till 3:45 for our order. I as We arrived in the parking lots. No space available. I got in line was formed and it has a system. They asked dine in or pick up. You get a ticket with your order name and phone number. Then, you pay up and you give your ticket to another host next your meals was ready waiting. I told the lady, “glad you guys have a system.” She smiled.

I always try to avoid eating at this location!! They always drag, forget something in my order(s) and service is horrible!!! This is the third time they forget to give me my drink that was in my daughter order! (Kids menu) And I STILL always tip!!! Never again!!! My order confirmation said pick up at 7:18pm I waited inside for more than 15 minutes!!!! Food wasn’t even fully cooked and I asked for “extra crispy” and the tater tots weren’t even cooked right and had NO flavor and they also forgot to give me my garlic. Great job everyone!!!

Took my Mom for the first time, after we went to a Dr appointment - introduced her to loaded tots and their honey barbeque & honey Thai chili boneless wings, then dessert. Our server Anna was very friendly & attentive, Mom was tickled pink - she loves the food, feel, and hospitality they offer. Thanks Joliet Hooters!

Worst service I've ever had at any Hooters ever. We drove an hour and were going to a show at the Rialto after dinner. Could've gone anywhere, but we go to Hooters whenever we can. Got there a few minutes before 5:00, perfect time. We were seated right away. A waitress offered to get us drinks but told us she was not going to be our waitress and it was shift change so it would be a few minutes for our server to get to us. Ok, we're good sports, in a good mood cuz we're at Hooters and just ordered a pitcher of sangria. 20 minutes goes by, no waitress, no order being put in........ Our confused and starting to get irritated looks caught the attention of a person that looked like a manager maybe. She asked us if everything was ok and we told her no, because we hadn't even gotten to order yet. She apologized and said our waitress was doing paper work. At least she took our order, but seriously, how is the waitress doing paperwork our problem??? We're supposed to wait til she's done? Another 10 minutes goes by and our waitress finally stopped by to say Hello but wasn't particularly friendly. I think she must have overheard us talking about the dwindlng tip. The food took a little longer to get than we expected, but was definitely worth the wait and the only reason this review has three stars. The waitress stopped by one more time when we were done eating and asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We said no and she went away and never came back with our check. Husband went to the restroom, he came back I went to the restroom. I saw our waitress standing around chatting at the hostess station on my way back to the table. We waited another 5 minutes or so and I got the attention of one of the waitresses actually working that we wanted our check. Needless to say we're striking Joliet Hooters off our list.
