Tao Cafe

This particular Tao is AWESOME. The sushi train meals have these frozen tiny packets to keep the sushi cold and I like that a lot. I also tried my first Japanese drink, sake, here, thanks to helpful staff' guidance. It was very smooth. Staff are lovely here. Meals are consistently tasty. Very clean and inviting. I come here regularly. :)

My experience at Tao Joondalup began with being rudely asked if we had booked before even a simple “hello” or greeting. My partner and I were sat at a bench sitting next to each other, so I asked for us to have a proper table. The food was great and what I usually expect from Tao however towards then end of our meal it took about 15 minutes to get someone’s attention for us to get a takeaway container and they certainly weren’t busy or short staffed. When we went to pay another server quickly ran to our table and told the cashier we had a sushi plate we needed to pay for even after I already told the cashier about this. So to sum up my experience the food was great service was appalling.

Serving size of noodles was tiny, paid $23 and it didn’t even fill the container, the flavour of the noodles was ok but not that nice. We previously had been to Innaloo Tao and that was amazing flavours was great and portion size was good too, I expected similar but this was much smaller and not as nice. Sushi was good at both.
