I have always loved this place. The food and people are great. The new owners have not changed a thing, thus preserving the look and feel that Shirley's has always been known for. 9-17-2023 was in again and the only difference is they have changed some menu items. Not a big change. And the prices are still affordable.

When we travel we always stop in small towns and snag breakfast. We've probably been to over a hundred breakfast restaurants. My husband orders biscuits and gravy every time and we track his ratings (he's like a biscuit and gravy connoisseur). Very rarely does he award a 10/10 rating... but today he did. 🙂 So delicious. Thank you!

Loved this little spot in the woods. Snowmobile parking up front. Killer homemade breads, and the breakfast was top notch. It’s everything you could ever want for in a diner - warm and friendly service, as much coffee as you can drink, and great food! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town. The Cajun scramble was enough food to put a lumberjack into a 12 hour coma.
