I have nothing the say that can do the place Service other then to say this like if you're mom and grandma are in heaven cuz this place Feels my heart with emotions because all the food. They remind me of my mom and Grandma's cooking. And I bring it back to a time of peace and clarity, where things were just simple. So go there

Great place to get fresh tortillas, barbacoa or just eat at the counter. Also a small grocery shop with basically anything you need.

Its so hard to find good Menudo. I usually go to Tortilleria La Real #5 (La Reyna). I ordered a medium it comes in the clear plastic container that you get soup and stuff in. It was $11.99. The large which comes in a large clear container is $20. It didn't come with the spices that I usually get though. The Menudo was tasty and it had Hominy Corn in it which was a huge plus for me. I will go back when I work on a Saturday again.

The menu is a little hard to read, so I definitely recommend they upgrade for non-spanish speakers. However, their Menudo and Chilaquiles are delicious! Stop by and oder yourself a plate, you won't be disappointed.

It is a mini market with a very good variety of mexican and Latin products. I even found Carne Seca (dried beef) Monterrey Style. In its cafeteria they have delicious Barbacoa and Carnitas Tacos, be aware their maiz (corn) tacos have a very decent size and plenty of filling👌 😋 so one taco could be considered equivalent to 2 tacos 🌮. Their Menudo it is delicious too.

If you are in the Katy area and like authentic Mexican Menudo you will not be disappointed. They sell a small for 8 dollars and a large for 16. The small is plenty big. The Menudo is the best I have had asides from when I make it. The only downfall is they don't add to much hominy.
