Sizzle Pi Pizza is a small pizza joint that's been around for a few decades. It hosts a New York theme, with many pictures of Manhattan and New York City throughout different eras.
We arrived on a Friday night around 7 p.m. and were greeted by a very helpful and friendly server, who explained the different meal options and prices. We opted for a 14-slice regular tray, filled our cups with soft beverages, and sat down at one of the many available tables.
What makes Sizzle Pi's pizza different is that it is fried. The pizza is light, fresh and soft at first, with a crispy crust; however, as the pizza cools, you can notice it growing heavier. The pizza came out piping hot, so enjoy a few extra minutes of conversation (or perusing your phone) before digging in.
Overall, Sizzle Pi is an inviting establishment, and worth the time if you're looking for another twist on northeastern Pennsylvania pizza.
