Starbucks

I went there a few days ago, they weren’t busy at all. I have not had the best experience with this Starbucks or the Markland mall one. I totally recommend this Starbucks because I was only in the drive through for about 15 minutes. When I ordered a drink I was wanting they explained that they were out of a certain item. I work fast food as well so I get it. However, they did tell me what they had. They were very friendly. I got to the window and they had a smile on their face and had my drinks made quickly. I don’t recommend the Markland Starbucks because they’re not as friendly as this one.

I ordered a scone and a flat white. At checkout, I was given the scone. As I was waiting for my drink another customer with my name orders. They called her name for a pastry. I looked up to make sure it wasn’t my drink. One of the baristas then tells the other that I took the second customers order. This was done in front of me. I corrected them by saying I only had what was handed to me at checkout.the barista sarcastically said I was good. Another employee said they couldn’t take the item back. I told them I was aware but I only had one item that was given directly to me at checkout. I understand orders that get mixed up, but it was rude of them to talk the way they were in front of customers. If there was an issue I would have happily addressed it privately and apologized.

As a vegetarian diabetic I have to be careful about what I eat and drink (especially when I'm eating out). I've found several options at Starbucks that meet my needs. The egg and cheese protein pack, the chickpeas nuggets protein pack, and the impossible breakfast sandwich (with only 1 bun) are good choices and taste delicious! As far as drinks, my old drink of choice was a caramel macchiato with an extra shot or two, no whip. Of course, as a type 1 diabetic I can't have that anymore. So, now I drink a sugar-free caramel or vanilla latte with soy or almond milk. It's not the same, but it's good. They have oatmilk now, too, which is great. I like that there are a lot of non dairy choices. The prices are a bit high, in my opinion. They've steadily increased over the last few years. For example, a few years ago, my drink order cost less than $4. It's now $5.70. The staff has always been super friendly for the most part; they learn your name and little things about you. I'll pull up in my car, and before I say a word, they say, 'Hey Amber, come on up'. I'm assuming they see me on the camera. So, other than cost and the limited sugar-free options (BUT, at least they have some), I love Starbucks. I love that they try to have vegetarian and healthy options. I recommend trying the stuff I mentioned earlier.

I love the coffee, but I was coming in on my lunch, and there was a employee/mgr at the table in front of me, and then this lady join her then they were talking and what not, then this girl/lady was there, and they were questioning her about a moment that the girl and the other lady had a bad moment. The girl asked to get up and not talk due to her being upset, and the Mgr was like no sit, and then they were talking over the girl, and and the girl I felt like was being gained up on. If there a problem don’t take it around the customers, like that moment be in a office.
