Authentic Thai food. Really good service. The quality of the food was top notch and the ambience is also great. Good place for families or large groups to go and have a proper lunch or dinner. Priced slightly on the higher side but the experience and the food more than makes up for it. Definitely a place I'd like to visit again.

"I always say the best thai restaurant in Dubai is my home" -Thaksin Shinawatra. Maybe it is not Dubai but South City mall Kolkata this time, but if that is how it tastes then I will say it is heaven. Thanks to this place that it has gifted me such a superb experience. Right from the time the starters kicked in until the deserts, everything done so intricately that it is hard for me to say which is the best and which is not. This review as always I will base on 1. Ambience and decor 2. Food and quality 3. Servce. 1. Ambience and decor -- Just one word is enough to describe it "Speechless". A little bit needs work though like the place where the family table is, the wall's a bit stained. But on the other hand the replica of the Reclining Buddha statue (A thai art architecture in Wat Phra Chetupon Vimolmangklararm (Wat Pho) temple in Thailand) almost overdoes that. Same is with the lights, perfectly sobre and also upholds the place as somewhere you can dine at with a perfect peace of mind. A calm atmosphere like less chattering from the other tables also added more to it. 2. Food and quality -- Before starting anything on this section it must be kept in mind that Thai food normally has a fishy smell. But it is the taste which beats it all. The food well.... It was one of the best Thai preparations I had in ages and good Thai food is enough to make you feel to visit the place of its origin. Simple preparations all in all but takes a lot to bring it out perfectly. Afterall "The simpler it looks, the harder it is". We ordered for Set Lunch which consists of starters, main course and deserts, needless to say about the quantity, we couldn't finish it all. The soup was perfect it had the correct amount of spices, vinegar and unlike other places neither do you need not have to add something to make it more alike, nor be sweating after having ample. This was followed by a starter, the shredded meat chunks and a fish preparation which was just equally awesome. After this we went for the "Bigger half" that is the main course. Well here there was rice, noodles and a chicken preparation. The rice and the noodles were perfectly made and the chicken side dish was properly cooked with a thin gravy and BOY !!!.... those mexican mushrooms did taste something.... this was followed by steamed rice and a prawn preparation with gravy. Though people were almost full to the brim but no one had the will to say a "no" to anything. The steamed rice with the coconut curry of prawn was way ahead than normal prawn preparations. In one word "Irresistible". This was followed by a desert which also had its own glamour, simply expressing "Hum bhi kisi se kum nehin". 3. Service -- Staffs are groomed enough and trained regarding the perfect details of the food, courtious, upto the mark. But a little more is needed which surely will happen with time. The food was served absolutely on time and unlike many places was served hot and tasted awesome. All of this added more to make it a fabulous experience. Word to the management -- The place is upto the mark. Food has no complaints whatsoever, be it quality, be it quantity. Ambience is also good. And thanks a lot for giving me more like a "Short trip to Thailand and back". A highly recommended place for all the Thai food lovers out there.

This is a unique restaurant in the heart of Kolkata nestled on the 3rd floor of South City Mall on the Prince Anwar Shah road. When I first time visited this restaurant, what I really liked about this place was the people and décor. People are really important and a big motivating factor for me. The internal décor is traditional Thai architecture delicately crafted and gives you a sense of comfort and space. I always prefer an ala carte menu over the buffet here and I can assure you the Tom Yum Gung and the authentic Papaya Salad is going to take you for a storm. A must visit for all the cusine explorers!!
