Afraa Deli

Had went there 2 times in short span. There's a offer on between 12 to 3 pm get a non-veg combo (2 combo options -- one option had chicken stroganoff which was really good) at 499 + GST. It was pretty good in taste and decent quantity. Also went therebother day for snacks and a-la-carte dishes are priced on the higher side but tastes are okay..white sauce pasta is good and my child liked it very much.

Its a small cafe inside city center 1, in the back side, beside the horse pulled tram statue. It has both closed and open air sitting arrangement. Closed place is small but well maintained. Food is nice as usual for Afraa deli. Service is good. You will find this place less crowded even if city center is packed, because it is outside, not within the main building. Open sitting space is excellent during winter.

Afraa Deli, visited this place after YEARS and was disappointed by its cramped seating and the smell of frying fish all over the place. We had fries, apple cake, iced espresso (black coffee), peach iced tea, ice cream. The items were good, the coffee could have been better. Tasted exactly like instant coffee, which was disappointing. The apple cake was really nice, as was the peach iced tea. We loved the fries. Used to love their small plates once upon a time, but we didn't get the chance to try it this time.

Good place for the quick lunch. The menu offers a choice from sandwiches and salads to Pasta and Pizza and an array of beverages to go with. A shade expensive for the ambience. Portion size of the Pasta is just enuf for an average eater. Earlier they used to provide 2 pieces of bread but now only 1 . The part I dint like was imposing a 10% service charge on the food bill which is unfair. Food quality is good, freshly prepared and served

If you are in City Center 1 and crave for some continental food, then Afraa Deli is a must visit place. The ambience is very good, price is quiet competitive and staff is really nice. Dishes to try : 1. Chicken and Thyme Cream Soup 2. Grilled Chicken sandwich 3. Afraa Deli Signature Platter 4. Fried Chicken tender wrap 5. Chicken Classic Ceasar Salad 6. Pan Grilled Prawns 7. Srimp and Chicken Ham Pizza 8. Cheese omlette 9. Pink Lemonade 10. Caramel Coffee 11. Masala Lemonade Dishes we tried : 1. Chicken sandwich 2. Grilled fish 3. Lime Soda The cost was approximately 1400 for two person. We really enjoyed this place a lot. Thanks!!

❣️Place: Afraa is on the 7th floor, G- block, City Center 1, Saltlake Sector 1. ❣️Ambience: The Arabic word "Afraa" means 'white' or 'fair'. Well, I must say, the ambience of this place completely justify the name. The interior is fairly decorated with different sitting arrangements. People can enjoy the view of the city from different corners of this place. Very peaceful soothing ambience. ⬇️Let's start the chapter with lipsmaking staters⬇️ ❇️Ajwaini Fish Tikka- Boneless fish pieces are marinated in a thick batter of Ajwain & other spices. Then they grilled in tandoor & finally served with salad & dip. Fish pieces have amazing grilled texture. ❇️Buttermilk Fried Chicken- This is my favourite of this lot!!! Tender chicken pieces coated with butter milk & other spices. Then deeply fried & served with salad & dip. Crispy from outside but juicy from inside. ❇️Pizzette/ Mini Pizza (Veg)- This is a small version of pizza. The little thin crust is topped with pizza sauce, cheese, minced vegetables & sprinkled with chilli flakes & origano. ⬇️Now come to the excellent main couse⬇️ ❇️Grilled Fish With Garlic Caper Butter- Smooth texture of gravy & fresh grilled fish pieces- what an amazing combination! The gravy is enriched with a flavour of garlic & butter. ❇️Purani Dilli Butter Chicken- Old is gold! Tender chicken pieces are marinated in yoghurt, ginger & other spices & then cooked in a flavourful gravy. ❇️Mutton Roganjosh- If you are a fan of mutton like me, you must love this lipsmaking recipe. Mutton Rogan Josh is originated from Kashmir. In this dish, mutton pieces are cooked in an aromatic gravy. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. ❇️Daal Makhani- Daal Makhani is a classic Indian recipe which is mainly made with daal infused with several spices, butter & cream. ❇️Subz Pulao- In this preparation streamed rice are sauted with vegetables. Little bit sweet in taste. ❇️Roti/ Indian Bread- Freshly baked rotis can perfectly combine with Daal Makhani. ⬇️Sweet ending⬇️ ❇️Malpua With Rabri- Malpua & Rabri both are my favourite Indian dessert. Malpuas are mainly made with a batter of flour, milk, sugar. This batter is fried into small batches & then dipped into sugar syrup. On the other hand, Rabri is a combined form of milk & condensed milk. So, if these two come together in a same plate, the magic must be there. ❇️Chocolate Montecarlo- This is a very interesting one.
