Because Elliot Road is so congested, I am enclosing some directions to this amazing authentic Bong outlet for heavely Bong food.
Google Map took me half km ahead, so perhaps this will be of help.
After you enter Eliot Road, keep your eyes on the left. After some 15 to 20 buildings you will find the entrance, photo 2.
Photo 1 is the view from the entrance to the junction of Eliot Rd amd AJC Bose Rd.
A picture of some of the yummy food we had and one of the menu. However, only selected items are available on a particular day and not all at once. You can phone and book though in advance.
There is parking available for a limited number of cars. The exremely helpful Security Guard at the gate will guide you.

After long time found a restaurant serving Bengali food , which will make you remembering the taste you used to relish having the food cooked by your grandmother!

Must visit for authentic and traditional Bengali cuisine. They also prepare Bengali sweet pies (pithe puli,patisapta, payas ) etc.during winter season (Poush Sankranti). Very tasty preparation but not teeming with oil and spices, and hence gut friendly.

The place is served by only ladies of self-help group. Ambience is moderate but clean. Most of the served bengali foods are tasty except few dishes viz. আলুভাজা contains lots of oil, ডাল is not up to the mark. First time tried ইলিশ ধোকা here.

Loved the ambience, totally like home...it's an entirely ladies driven restaurant.Food is very tasty. Price is a bit on the higher side but overall a nice experience.

It's an unique eating outlet, managed and run by women co-operative. Clean environment. They offer nice Bengali cuisine. Price is moderate. One of the best places to take meal in this area. One thing one must keep in mind, it closes down by 4PM!
