The Lighthouse Cafe

Very nice place and ambience. Good food too! Highly recommend! This is one of my favourite cafés in Lake gardens! Very nice decor and interior and the food is too good! There is a variety of coffee options and the deserts are excellent! My favourites are the Margherita 2.0 pizza (with added chicken), cold brew and their Tiramisu! Was too excited to eat and forgot to take pictures of the food :( The interior is AC and there is seating arrangement in the balcony too! 5stars!

The place is a little expensive than a regular coffee house but the taste of their food is extremely worth the price. The cafe is located in the South city mall area. We tried the blueberry pancake with classic mojito and chemex. I personally loved the place. It has a very photogenic atmosphere and each corner is full of instaworthy shots. We couldn't try any sort of coffee as the coffee machine was not working but I hope it was a one time thing and they would serve me coffee in my next visit. The behavior of the staff was everything. Obviously a 5 out of 5 star service and behavior.

Amazing place to go out with your friends and family.. very well decorated.. they've used each corner of the plot so aesthetically. We had Spanish cheese omelet (comes with two slices of bread) with Oreo chocolate shake and cold coffee. Don't know why we had to wait for more than usual for our food to be served. If you want to explore this cafe you may pay a visit during the evening..with all the lights and shadows the place looks more attractive and beautiful.

There is little to no knowledge of what good coffee looks like at most of the generic 'machine made' with the cheapest coffee beans . The craft coffee scene in Kolkata is picking up and this is another place that tries to offer you a 'specialty coffee' experience. Choice of brewing methods is limited to Chemex and Pour over and they have 2 blends (1 for dark and 1 for medium roast). Having said that, I had a Chemex one, and it was decent. Slightly bitter(probably over extraction) and not bad at all. Wife had the hot chocolate which was nice and not overloaded with any syrup. The ham and cheese sandwich was excellent and their herbed bread is superb The place itself has a pretty outdoor open seating space and a limited but quirky indoor space with an exposed brick wall design which adds to its retro Vibes. Unobtrusive and fairly quick service, great food and decent coffee. I would recommend this place!
