The food of Golden joy is always our favourite. Whenever we go, we always take a few set of constant dishes. We still love them. The quality is still maintained. Thai soup, golden fried prawn and garlic pepper fried chicken are always the starters. Main dishes are good as well. You need to finish with a chilled lemon soda.

Tasty Chinese Fare, Charming Ambiance, Consider Queues & Accessibility Goldenjoy Restaurant offers delicious Chinese cuisine and a charming ambiance. The mixed noodles and chicken thread were highlights, delivering delightful flavors. However, be prepared for potential queues during busy times. The entrance is narrow, and there's no lift, which could pose challenges for some visitors. The food was very good. We ordered a small manchow soup which was enough for the two of us, the soup tastes good and it contains lots of chicken and prawn,then we took half chilli Garlic Paper chicken, which was also more than enough for two, and the best half plate golden fried prawn,in half plate you will get 7 pieces. The size of the prawn was good the coating was very crispy and thin. For the main course we took mixed Rice noodles/maifun,it was also tasty.....

We order chicken lung fung soup, prawn chips, chili garlic pepper chicken, golden fried prawns, chili chicken dry and chili pork dry. The starters were all good. Really loved the chili pork dry, it was different than what we normally eat. It is a must try if you love authentic chinese food. Service is very fast, the atmosphere can be little loud as we sat in the first floor because the place was over crowded during weekend. Overall it is a great experience...... The ONLY Authentic Chinese Restaurant in entire Kolkata. The place is little inside of China Town, and the vibe of the area is dull, but trust me, just because of food people love to come to this place. Even we saw Raima sen and Munmun Sen here...
