I have visited the Ruby Hospital since pre-COVID times of my father Mr. Paritosh Chandra Saha (patient) due to Gastrointestinal issues. My father was mostly treated by Dr. Sunil Baran Das Chakraborty, who is the Senior Gastroenterologist at Ruby Hospital. There were multiple ERCPs done for him post gallbladder OT for CBD stent removal. He is so a good expert in ERCP that my father had no complications during ERCP and post ERCP. His behavior is very polite and friendly and his associates are also very nice and very polite and very friendly. We never felt alone or left out under him. Dr. SBDC and his associates were so good that they took complete care of my father and now he is completely cured and recovered from Gastro complications. Better services compared to other hospitals in kolkata. The fact that it is one of the older hospitals helps. However, in some cases, admission process can be made better, especially wrt data. If a patient gets admitted to the hospital multiple times, admission department should be able to fetch her/his data from previous visits. Why keep patients waiting by asking them to fill the same forms on every visit?
