Dzomsa is a must for those who love North East and specially Sikkim. Their momos are arguably the best in Kolkata. Every dish on the menu is superb. Their chimney soup is a must try. The ambience is cosy and the staff are extremely polite and helpful.
Dzomsa has a selection of curated teas which is just brilliant. The proprietor owners are Tashi and Neil Law. Tashi brings perfection of flavour to the cuisine while Neil is a master taster and hence the teas are brewed to perfection. One can buy these amazing teas brought from all over the north east and Darjeeling and even Nepal at excellent prices to take home.
Overall it's a hidden gem of Kolkata and a very cool place to hang out and try out authentic and unique oriental food.

Good selection of teas and nice momos. Pocket friendly, cozy ambience

Great for Chinese food. Cosy restaurant in a quiet lane just off the busy Gariahat road.
They offer many varieties of tea as well.
The friendly owners are careful in monitoring the quality of the food.
Their momos are so juicy! Authentic taste

It was an absolutely amazing experience at dzomsa. It was as if we were transported to the hills. The quality of the food, the taste, the cosy hilly ambience, the service, the behaviour, the darjeeling first flush, everything was top notch. A tiny slice of Darjeeling or Gangtok in Kolkata. The chimney soup, the fried Momo, the chilli pork, the noodles, the kung pao prawn , everything was just outstding. People who love small cosy, yet quality eateries must visit here.

This cute little place has everything it takes to bring the flavour of the hills to us here in Kolkata. The authentic juicy melt in the mouth momos are the best I’ve tasted in the city. The pork shapta is a must try as well. There’s a personal touch to the place added by the owners Niel and Tashi and one can always sip on some Darjeeling tea and have a chat with them. This place sure gives you an experience you’ll keep coming back to.

Beautifully prepared food. All of the food was lip smacking. One of the best north Indian cuisine based restaurant in Kolkata. I was amazed by the quality, quantity and taste of the food.
It is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner.
Highly Recommended.

Don't miss the chilli pork here. One of the best I had till date. Also try different types of tea ( 1st or 2nd flash )

I’ve always loved it here. The food is authentic, simple, delicious and tastes as close to home food as you can get. The ambience is great…akin to the vibe you get in the restaurants up in the hills.
I absolutely love their teas too…you can ‘customise’ your own blend to take home with you as well.
