Cute atmosphere and open space, the bar is the centerpiece of this place! Immediately felt “at home”. House Bloody Mary was great- not too fancy and not overdone. Just perfect. The sirloin jerky was awesome and you get a lot for the price. Ordered burgers - they were okay, little overdone. If they had been medium rare they would be have amazing. Sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked and light! We will go back and see what else we can try! We didn’t order any of the shots- but loved the idea of showing these on the menu! Hey man- nice shot!

I LOVE it here! Great service, amazing drinks, and delicious food. The atmosphere is really comfortable, too. My fiance and I were looking to treat ourselves and we got what we wanted and more! We originally only wanted drinks because we had just gotten ice cream, but the food looked so good, we had to order some fries. And those were so good, I had to order another appetizer! Definitely coming in on an empty stomach next time, excited to try their gourmet burgers.

Our table got cleaned quickly and we were able to sit outside after walking around the area and deciding where to eat. Our waitress was being shadowed by another in training. Our drinks were delivered to a different table. I felt as if the waitress who was doing the training should have set a good example by checking on us periodically. Instead we had to flag her whenever we needed something including another round of drinks. The food was OK, the service could have been better. The atmosphere was great.

Monk’s is great! Very casual vibe, large selection of beers/drinks and food and plenty of big screen TVs above the bar. I would say probably half the tables are low and half are high-top, and they have a great looking outdoor patio out front as well! The Buffalo Chicken Flatbread was AMAZING and we always love the Craft Burger. Highly recommend!

Possibly THE SECOND WORST DINING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. The first worst dining experience was getting severe food poisoning from fish and chips in very early pregnancy...but I digress My husband and I had been at this establishment before. I was never a fan of their food, but I thought it was palatable. That is until last Saturday when they served us ROTTEN RAW SALMON. It was raw in the middle and stank to high heaven. I could smell it on my hands for a day and a half afterwards—and I wash my hands all the time. What’s worse is that my 2 year old had a few bites before I realized the fish was raw and rancid. But that was just one of the highlights of a truly MISERABLE dining experience. We went there late Saturday afternoon. I ordered a Caipirinha, which the menu listed as made with muddled lime. What I received was made with margarita mix or sweet and sour. Whatever...I wasn’t happy so I ordered a different drink. The waitress said she took the caipirinha off the tab, which was nice of her. Everything was ok so far. We ordered some food. The kitchen was out of every item that looked good to us. Once again, I wasn’t that bothered. Everything was still ok. My husband ordered a Greek salad with salmon, and I ordered brussel sprouts with NO BACON. The brussel sprouts came. They were kind of weird tasting, and they had bacon. Ok, whatever. I picked it off. Not cool, but I was trying to be pleasant. Then the salad arrived. Wilted greens, Chihuahua cheese, some chunks of pepper and a rotten, half-cooked piece of salmon. And my husband gave our baby two pieces of salmon before I looked up from the bacon I was picking off the brussel sprouts. At that point, I called the manager. When Kelly, the manager, arrived, she not only refused to take responsibility for serving us raw rotten fish, she argued with me about the cheese on the salad (menu said Feta; it was definitely a type of Chihuahua Cheese). She claimed I ordered “no bacon jam” on the sprout, but not “no bacon.” (I specifically confirmed that the sprouts could be made without bacon before ordering. The bacon on brussel sprouts is a pretty standard thing.) Any reasonable manager would have been mortified with the general negligence of her kitchen staff. She was argumentative, rude, and just disrespectful. I got my child and husband out of there and prayed all the way home that my little one wouldn’t get sick. I also rubbed lemon on my hands and washed them fervently for the next few hours.
