We went for our anniversary meal and it was excellent. The food was lovely and the service was great. We had the '3 courses and 3 gins' deal. Our server recommended some very nice gins to go with each course. We couldn't fault anything. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

A fantastic meal, portion size of the steaks were huge but every part of it was delicious, definitely reccomend the steaks! All staff members were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, we went quite late on at night and didn't feel rushed to leave at any point. Definitely will be returning, couldn't fault it whatsoever.

We had an evening meal on Saturday 25th May, after booking through their website. I have to follow a dairy and gluten free diet and the staff were amazingly helpful, but without causing a fuss. It is one of only a few places where I have been able to choose from several dishes on the main menu. The food and service was fantastic. It is a really lovely building and had a great atmosphere. We will definitely be going again and have already recommended to friends.

We visited for a mid-week evening meal out and ate off the set menu - 3 courses and 3 gins for £25 per person. Great value and tasty food. We both had the steak and really enjoyed it. They had a couple of big parties in so they offered to seat us around the corner where it was a bit quieter which was perfect for us. The staff were really friendly too!

Went for Sunday lunch with friends and had the roast. Came quickly and was really tasty, well cooked and presented. Tom behind the bar was really friendly, helpful and had a great knowledge of gin.

Came for lunch with two friends. What a brilliant place. Tender steak Diane sandwich, homemade cauliflower soup and a soft drink for £5. This was really lovely and the best lunch I've had in ages. I'll definitely recommend it here. Great gastropub.

As always the food was delicious and plenty of it. I'd really recommend the steak night, a steak meal and a bottle of wine each for just £20 each. You'll get one of the warmest from ,possibly one of the friendliest people in Lancaster, Ollie. Absolutely love this place !!
