Toll House Inn

Went for lunch so couldn't rate the rooms. Lunch was great, Ham, Egg & Chips. Nice selection of menus, Lunch, Specials and Full menu. Good selection of beers, Cask Ale, traditional bitter was on form, clear, bright and properly pulled. Service excellent, friendly and helpful. Lovely beer garden. Spacious, tidy, garden courtyard with a variety of seating. Quiet & relaxing this afternoon but can imagine livelier in evenings. Gave 5 stars for location because it's only 5mins from home but close to city centre or canalside if you fancy an after lunch stroll. Price wise, not a budget offering but good value and high quality. Lunch for 2 with drinks was about the same as other city centre pubs of the similar quality.

Well what can I say apart from FANTASTIC my husband and I came to stay on Friday for 2 nights . From the moment we booked weeks ago we have nothing but praise for everything . Being greeted by a lovely young man who booked us in and explained about everything we needed to know. The waitress are amazing so friendly. The outdoor seating lovely and cosy . Room fantastic ,now the food that's another level whoever the chef is never let him go ,lol. All the small touches you give are class blankets for outside and heaters,milk and water for the rooms completely tea,coffee box . Thanks again Mr and Mrs Kay

All of the staff I have interacted both on this visit and others previously have been incredibly helpful and attentive. I even asked to use the toilets as I went to collect my bag yesterday before my journey home and the staff fetched it for me! Breakfast has always been absolutely faultless, as has the cleanliness and services/facilities in the rooms. Spacious, clean, professional, and the coffee machine in the room was an extra-luxurious touch! Will continue to use this hotel on any future visits to Lancaster!
