Mixed starter is amazing, especially the prawn toast and wontons (super crispy). Little expensive but Chinese generally are and definitely worth it.

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant on a Sunday evening. We asked for some starters to come with our main course. The server was very friendly, he even gave our daughter advice on which Asian supermarket to buy from, as she is a student in Lancaster. The food was superb, good size portions and well priced.
Will be visiting again when we come to see our daughter at university

We hired Golden Dragon for a meal the evening before our wedding, and the team and the service was brilliant! The whole team were so incredible with all of the planning by doing a preorder for the 23 guests, they made the whole experience so much easier. Couldn't fault the team at all, all of the food came out at the same time, piping hot and all guests said how nice the food was.Thank you for such great service ❤️

Ordered from here on recommendation. Bit of a wait but received a call in apology as they were very busy. After eating I understand why. Food was delicious, very clean (not at all greasy), incredibly tasty and fresh. It also arrived piping hot. Will recommend to everyone I know. Doubt I'll ever order Chinese food from anywhere other than here in the future. Cannot speak highly enough.😊

Excellent meal. Couldn't fault it. Very tasty and hot. Staff pleasant and friendly. Thank you for our new year treat.
Update in April 23. Loved everything except one waiter was very quick at clearing table when we were avidly still chewing it food. He also was pushing for us to buy drinks.
I also wish we were given time to check the bill. We actually think we were under charged but the bill was taken so we couldn't check it!

Superb experience. The atmosphere was delightful. The food has always been of a high quality.
The staff are pleasent and efficient.
The short wait between courses is to be expected when food is cooked to order, but it is hardly noticed when you're chatting at the table.
For the high quality and plentiful dishes served, the Golden Dragon offers good value for money.
28-01-2023... Returned for another great experience. The prices have increased, but this seems completely justified to maintain the superb quality of the food offered.
Plenty of attentive staff. Although there was a large party in, other groups including my own, were still dealt with promptly.
I will be back and would thoroughly recommend the Golden Dragon.

I've come to Lancaster on a getaway and found this cosy inviting gem on my travels and craving Chinese.I was not disappointed.I had the spareribs in BBq(lots of meat) and fried Pork Dumplings, 2 appetizers as my main..yummy!!!And the waiter was so kind and gracious and helpful..I'll be back.5*

Really calm atmosphere, beautiful music, very clean and comfortable, amazing decoration and ambient lighting. The food was amazing, skeptical of the price before we went in but really worth it, well cooked, and amazing service, thank you for teaching me how to use chopsticks, sat for fifteen minutes dropping food on myself 😂, but really worth a visit. £31 for two people. Will definitely be back! 🇨🇳
