Lovely place to watch and experience live football matches. Great atmosphere and people are very welcoming.

Big shout out of love and thanks to all the hard working management and staff at The Park Hotel for hosting the Dub In The Pub community reggae all dayer on Saturday 5th August in celebration of Jamaica Independence Day.
Eleven hours of roots reggae,rocksteady,ska,dub,and Stix on the mic keeping it all sweet.
Big shout out to Sam Rednex and Rankin Miss P for coming over the hills to play.
Great djs on rotation throughout the day following the vibe.
Great homemade pizzas too from Angie and the kitchen crew.
Top Guinness,kept well and well poured- all reasonable bar prices.
Big thanks and love to everyone who came down to support the day and big up the dancefloor massive skanking and rocking to the riddims.
Support local business.
Unity in the community.

We had our (delayed) wedding reception here. Lot’s of problems kept cropping up which the landlady Angie came up with solutions. The room was decorated and it looked lovely. All the staff were superb. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Went to a party upstairs but spent a bit of time in main bar downstairs. Enjoyed both. Good service, well kept cask ales and fabulous meat and potato hotpot.
Place was busy which is always a good sign. Well run pub, friendly service and tasty grub. What's not to like.

It's got a great atmosphere and it's venue for the super league darts is also great. The only bad thing is that the bar upstairs could have been opened so that we could get drinks there instead of having to go downstairs to get them

Just got back from attending my godson's christening at The Park. Spent a lot of my youth there at various raves where it was always very welcoming but a little tatty. It was lovely to see it refurbished and looking great. The staff were brilliant and the drinks were very reasonably priced. I thoroughly recommend.

Went to a friend's party here - the lady behind the bar was terrific, she was on her own but managed to sort everyone's orders quickly and even remembered what drinks we had ordered before, amazing! Great venue for a function, highly recommended.

I had one of my birthdays here. Lovely spot to hang out with my friends, and also watch some Premiership Football Games. Lovely place and animal friendly so you may have your dog in too, and you will not be discriminated- at least the last time I checked

Good local pub with reasonable food. Clean and well maintained. Good atmosphere especially on open mic nights. Shows all main sporting events on a projector. Reasonable variety of drinks unless you like cider... The only option is strongbow.
