Tucked away on the ground floor of a local motel, you'll find a delightful surprise: Namaste Restaurant. On this occasion we ordered delivery; Garlic Naan, Vegetable Samosa, Chicken Vindaloo, and vegetable Tikka Masala From the outset, the samosas were a hit, cooked to perfection with just the right hint of spice to tease the taste buds. The chicken vindaloo was a revelation. It managed to balance spice without drowning out the rest of the aroma and flavors. The chicken was tender and succulent, and overwhelmingly fresh. And the vegetable tikka masala? It's a symphony of flavors with every bite, from the perfectly cooked potatoes to the zest of fresh ginger and cardamom. Lastly, the garlic naan – always an essential accompaniment for an occasion like this – did it's job adeptly with no complaints. Now, I'll be honest. My first visit to Namaste during the pandemic wasn't exactly a home run. But these are unprecedented times, with every eatery facing challenges. So, I decided to give them another shot and boy, am I glad I did. Judging a place when they're just trying to navigate a global crisis doesn't give the full picture. And now, having tasted what they truly have to offer, I can confidently say Namaste might be the best Indian cuisine I've had in years. Whether you're in the mood for Indian, Nepalese, or even Bhutanese specialties like their momo, this place has you covered. With everything from noodle dishes to tandoori chicken on offer, there's something to satiate every palate. Namaste Restaurant in Lancaster, PA is an unassuming gem that deserves a spot on everyone's list. We'll certainly be back for more!

Great food. And the tastes were quite authentic. They customized the spiciness to our levels. And I don't mean just the hotness, but the other flavors that go into Indian food - cloves, garlic, cilantro and most importantly the subtler ones like cardamom, nutmeg etc. This place really surprised me. And I'm excited to have them in Lancaster.

Namaste is hands down THE best Indian and south Asian cuisine I've had in a restaurant in 25+years. Their food is so flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious. You can adjust the heat of your dishes to your comfort level, and if you can handle a 7, I highly recommend it! The staff is sweet and friendly, and their dining area is casual and comfortable. I will return here again and again! So grateful for the wonderful food!

I am always been partial to one of the other Indian restaurants in Lancaster, but it’s very difficult to get in without planning ahead for a reservation, so we tried Namaste instead. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety, and everything was excellent! We will definitely be back. Even though it’s in a motel, don’t rule it out, it definitely is worth a trip!
