551 West

The restaurant has an agreement with the funeral home across the street so diners can park. I wish I had known this before I parked so I wanted to include it in the review for anyone interested in trying a new place. I found 551 West on a travel website that I use that recommends places when visiting new locations. The service was great and the waitress was really friendly and helpful in picking a burger from the menu. The soup of the day was Teriyaki Chicken which sounded unique since I've never had it before, of course I had to try it. The first few bites were great but I started to notice it was more salty as I continued to eat. I had the Peach Burger with garlic fries as my meal. The burger was cooked to perfection but the peach slices were too thick so the ratio was off (in my opinion) but it was still really good. The fries tasted great but were really greasy. Lots of reviews mentioned their cheesecake so I felt obligated to try it. I got a slice of Snickers Cheesecake which was the flavor recommended by our amazing waitress. The texture was not a traditional cheesecake but the flavor was great. The slice was huge, like two and a half normal slices. As soon as I saw it, I had them pack it up to go knowing I couldn't finish it but that I'd have a fridge at the hotel, but I had a few bites while still in the restaurant.

My friend and I were from out of town and popped in 551 on a Monday night. Ash was our bartender. Let me tell you, she did not miss a beat. Super knowledgeable and honest, which I loved. Food was so good. We got fried mashed potato balls, wedge salad, chicken tenders with garlic Parmesan fries, and fish tacos. Everything was so good and I am pretty particular, so it is not common I feel this way. They had karaoke with Syd and we had THE BEST TIME. We will definitely be back!

Love this place... The food, drinks, atmosphere is GREAT.. I've had everything on the menu, EVERYTHING IS GOOD ....My favorite is the peanut butter burger (551 Burger) 💕. The wedge salad it's so great, add blacken shrimp or chicken for protein. ALL the staff at 551 are AWESOME!! Jimmy's the Best bartender he has our drinks ready before we even sit down.

We had great food and service. Sam (our server) was very knowledgeable about the food and the establishment itself. We all got different sandwiches and loved them! They had unique items for example I had a peachy chicken sandwich. It was a grilled chicken breast with peaches and an pepper onion cream sauce. It was very good..not to over powering just the right blend. We are not from the area but we would try this place again should we be around again!
