1800 Simply The Best Burritos And Tacos

I agree with other reviews, one of the best burritos around not only in Lancaster, the Antelope Valley but other places as well. Love coming to this place, The people, the food, it’s a great place to eat. I got a Philadelphia burrito substitute the beef for chicken and no cheese or beans, it’s the best!! Their fries are pretty out of this world as well. Love all their tacos, have had everything but pork, I don’t eat pig 😊👍 Look at the size of that thing it’s like two meals and one.

I met a friend here for lunch and upon entering I thought it was a nice looking little place. A black & white theme with wooden floors, benches and tables running down both sides of the walls with seating for about 34 or so. The order counter is at the far end of the long and narrow eatery. The simple menu is on the wall. There are Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, and a Tostada Bowl. I ordered a Pork Burrito, they come in Regular or Jumbo. I ordered Jumbo and added Sour Cream. My friend ordered the Jumbo Steak Burrito and also added Sour Cream. I ordered a drink my friend just had water. Grand Total for two Burritos and one drink came to 22 Dollars and change, those are sit down full service restaurant prices and rice and beans would be included with the burrito! We took a seat and soon our orders arrived. I guess the word Jumbo can be a bit subjective and apparently their idea and mine are somewhat different. I thought I would be bringing some home but this was a one meal burrito. Well the most important thing is how it tastes and at the price I paid I was expecting something pretty darn good but what I got was bland and mediocre at best. The pork was tender but lacked flavor and when the burrito arrived it was only warm, by the time I was halfway through it was cold. On the plus side was the waitstaff who were fast and friendly and like I said before I like the restaurant itself,the way they utilize the space and I even liked the simple menu and everything was clean. Unfortunately where it counts the most, the food, I found it lacking. Despite what the sign out front says, these are not Simply the Best Burritos & Tacos, I have had better elsewhere for less. When you proclaim that you are the best you had better come through and deliver the goods.1800 falls short of being the best and they are overpriced.
