Gallico Lounge

Had a nice cup of tea and shared fries and a flapjack with my son. Prices were reasonable. Tables are spread out but it does get crowded. Prices are reasonable. The Book Swap Bookcase is a good idea. We will come back but only when it's not too busy. One of my friends who has been here said the food was good and he's very picky Update: We have been for tea at about 3.30 twice. Loved the tea cakes and tea. It wasn't too busy and got good seats. The staff were lovely

I was surprised by Gallico Lounge, I assumed it wouldn't be up to much but I couldn't have been more wrong. I've been there 5 or 6 times now in the last few months for drinks and food, each time the service has been excellent, as is the choice of drinks. Ordering from the website rather than queuing at the bar works really well too. The food has been great every time I've eaten, and even though they have a large menu it appears that it's all freshly cooked, is well presented and delivered in a timely fashion. They seem to have lots of choices for vegetarians/vegans. We really liked the Beyond Meat Cheeseburger, which was unlike any veggie burgers we've ever tried before. We went today for my daughter's birthday and the staff were very helpful making sure her order was right when I ordered it wrong and bringing out the birthday cake we had brought in, even joining in with a chorus of happy birthday too! All great experiences so far, I hope they keep it up, Lancaster needs more good restaurants!

I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant and indulging in their exquisite dishes. The Bang Bang Chicken was a burst of flavors, perfectly balanced and accompanied by a tantalizing sauce. The Pulled Brisket Chilli was an absolute delight, with the tender brisket melting in my mouth and the chili adding just the right amount of kick. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients truly set this restaurant apart. A must-visit for anyone seeking a culinary experience that's both delectable and memorable!

First time trying this place tonight. Had the sesame chicken wings from the tapas menu to start and then the chilli... Cor yummy, proper top grub! Had a couple of pals with me too who also really enjoyed their food. OK it wasn't busy as it was a Wednesday night but credit where its due, top notch across the board 10/10... Oh and top marks too for the barman who knew the history of the company and what their future plans were, was interesting to hear it all and he clearly had a lot of pride in the company. Well done everyone and thank you, we loved it 👏👍
