My favorite place since I was a child. If you dine inn, you get a free soup with your order, it’s a small bowl but it’s really good and it’s fine for the size since you’re still getting your plate after. They have a menu by day but they’re main dish are the flautas de ternera. I really recommend (suaves) - to drink they have a small variety and a couple mx aguas, but I am sure you’ll find one you can enjoy. To go orders are fine but no soup- :( but it’s ok- I love this place, wouldn’t call it small- but quaint hehe.

I love la paisana. I have been eating their food since I was little but from the place in Nuevo Laredo. I eat here whenever I can. Wish they were open for more hours.

I have eat these flautas since i was a kid and the flavor and quality remains the same. Either you go to the original place in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico or in Laredo TX the flavor and quality of food is the same

I remember that I was like 3 years old, when my parents took me to La Paisana, that's 54 years ago, and the taste is the same, family friendly place, owned by the same family. Now my Kids love to eat at La Paisana.

I am from out of town and my friend who is from Laredo took me there. The building had no sign ( hole in the wall ). Don’t expect a fancy place and only 3 items on the menu plus daily special. Very clean and good authentic food.
