We called in to place an order for carryout based on recommendations from close family members. What a treat! Authentic and genuine German cuisine prepared better than I've ever experienced previously. I was greeted at the door and I felt appreciated and welcomed by the staff and management (possibly the owners, I'm not certain as it was my first visit). My wife and I ordered two different meals and both of us found the dishes remarkable. There was more food than we could eat so we're both looking forward to lunch today! We will be back! I would rate this restaurant 6 stars if I could.

I had #24 and it was fabulous! It came with a wonderful side salad. The entree had 2 large pretzel dumplings in a scrumptious Bavarian mushroom ragout. Portions are very generous. I couldn't finish my meal, so got to take some home. For dessert I had apple strudel with everything. Heaven. The service was great. I'll definitely be back. Be sure to stop by the German deli right next door.

First Post-----Don't go to this place if your respect yourself. Treat you like trash and like it is a privilege to get served and eat there. Reminds me of place that needs to be closed and turned into a good restaurant. I got bit by the owners Doberman pincher and he laughed, and again worst service ever. Chaz. Food is marginal, but you are lucky if they say hello when you walk in the door and lucky to get you a menu. Save your money and go to another Germen food place where they appreciate and respect business. Should have code enforcement called on them for allowing dogs to be inside the restaurant and harass people. See the picture of the dog and rude owner. Hope they close and go back to Germany. Uber Alles is their mindset! Second Post---I guess the owner wrote me back about my post and said the man in the pic is not the owner? Even when we were told by the server CHAZ the man pictured with the dog was a part owner? And that is why he can have his mean dog inside with small children walking around. My son's are 3 and 5. The owner also claims this is a service dog? Maybe in Germany during WW2. This dog does not have any papers, or a service dog demeanor, or a service dog harness. Nice try! Everyone claims to have a service dog for emotional therapy. The fact is, the dog did bite me and the service you provide is sub par. Those are facts. Disrespectful is all I can say. I hope the best to you!

Extremely overpriced. 72 dollars for two people to eat. The menu is very unclear and so is the pricing. The actual prices weren't reflected on the photos of the menu. I also basically paid for a dish I'm allergic to, because without understanding German, it was hard to know what is in each dish. So now I'm looking for something else to eat for dinner.

Wow! This was an amazing dining experience! The authentic German cuisine here is unparalleled anywhere. The lentils and schnitzel were old world delicious. The cold cut platter was just right as a starter. We also had a chicken fried steak covered in gravy dish that was amazing. The purple cabbage and dark gravy also was spectacular and unique. The service was wonderful and this is a place that you should visit if you're in the St Petersburg area. It's probably a little secret so don't go spreading the word too much just bring friends and family lol jk Oh by the way I think you can only bring small groups to this as the place is not that large. You might want to plan ahead for your visit. But it will be worth it...!
