Rib Shack Bbq

We ordered nachos with pork on the chips. Asked for japs/sour cream/cheese on side. I guess cheese, pork, sour cream, and japs were all mixed together. I called up and Mackenzie said that’s how you ordered them. Then again she said you ordered chip on side only. I guess customer always wrong. The ribs use to be good. They were tough and mac n cheese was dry. Sad. We used to love it here.

Wow. Really great BBQ served up in the Largo area. At this location for 2 years you can smell the oak pouring out the smoker a block away. The chicken had great flavor and wasn't dried out which seems to happen to often. A half rack of ribs was plenty with again great sauce. Baked beans were sweet and savory and the potato salad is another great option. These boys are doing it right! Service was spot on.

Since moving this place HAS FELL ALL THE WAY OFF! Stay clear”””” it’s old dried out reheated food! However they do prepare fresh meat for their catering gigs but to an average Joe you can forget about getting a decent fresh meal! The sides are a joke especially the Mac n Cheese which is just noodle with one layer of cheese on top as in like a child prepared it! The sauce has changed several times! This place is going downhill and fast! They just don’t seem to care about consistency or the average customer! The service and food was so much better in that old run down hot box of a restaurant they use to have! Seems now since moving into the new place everything died with that old building! I’ve given numerous tries and I’m done now with this place! Stick a fork in it!!! Back to my own grill I go!!!! What a shame !!!!!

A Co-Peer suggested this spot for lunch. I had an early day and decided to stop in for carry out. Once home and relaxed I dug in. When I say this taste of smokey tender goodness reminds me of the "Ole School" Pit Masters....WOW! A UNIQUELY well seasonsed aweet and tangy sauce to LIVE for...❣❣❣❣it's right here. Please don't take my word for it...give Rib Shack a try...I guarantee YOU, you won't be sorry! The restuarant itself is clean and bright. The young lady managing the register was all so kind and polite. Nice spot in the Largo area...Check him OUT😊

I must have shown up on the wrong day seeing the reviews. This was the second worse ribs and sausage and sides I ever had at a BBQ place. The ribs were so dry it was more like chewing cardboard. The sausage was also so dry it flaked apart inside and just chewed on the outside. And it was all covered in a sauce that was way too sweet. And the sides were on par with all else. Just a terrible experience served in a foam box. Since all items were equally bad, no second chances here for me here. The food was just all overcooked beyond belief.

What should you get at the Rib Shack? RIBS! The juicy meat falls off the bone and has a great smokey taste and the sauce makes it even better. The chopped pork overshadowed by the ribs but you know their meat is fresh. The collards were my favorite but all the sides were good. And don't forget to finish off with a nice mini pie - they are delicious!

The restaurant it's self was a little dark but the atmosphere seemed pretty nice. I ordered a chicken dinner. The chicken dinner was chicken breast that came with two. I order collard greens and potato salad. The chicken breast came over white bread with some barbecue sauce. The chicken breast had a nice Smoky flavor but was very dry. The collards were a bit watery but had a decent flavor. The potato salad was also decent. The barbecue sauce itself was thin. The server was very nice and the price was very good. The actual rating I would give it would be 3.5 .
