Jim Bobs Bbq

Spending the night in Las Cruces and looked for some BBQ. Not much to choose from. Saw this place on line and me and my buddy decided to try it. It's really a bar that happens to have bbq cook onsite. Good atmosphere. Plenty of seating inside and out. Waitress was friendly. Small 3 piece group playing on stage. They were out of ribs at 7pm. We decided to get a chopped brisket sandwich. My side was Mac/cheese, my friend had fries. Food delivery after a short wait. The sandwich was very good. I prefer sliced brisket (we're from Texas) but this was good. Sides were ok. The don't have a lot of choices on the menu but enough to have choices. If you live Las Cruces or are visiting, be sure to give this spot a try.

Wonderful small restaurant that offers quality food at reasonable price. Be prepared to wait a bit longer than what they tell you. They said it would be a 10mins wait yet I waited 25mins. (1) The beef burger was very juicy and tender. It was savory and tasty. (2) The pulled pork sandwich was crispy and full of roasted aroma. However, I wish they put more bbq sauce in it as it was a bit dry and tasteless inside. (3) The onion rings were delicious and crunchy. (4) The vinaigrette slaw was sour and it definitely brought up my appetite.

Had an incredible time eating my favorite pulled pork sandwiches and French fries here in Las Cruces. Haven't been to the Icebox brewery before Jimbobs relocated here. Still same great food! Great atmosphere at the brewery, table service was phenomenal. You won't be disappointed. I was so excited to eat my food I forgot to take a picture!
