Chipotle Mexican Grill

Unacceptable service. The so called burrito was falling apart when I peeled the foil back and their solution was to just throw it in a bowl?… it would be fine if we didn’t have to already wait and order online while we’re here since they’re “short staffed” Uhmm maybe just pay people better and they’ll work. Ridiculous and we will not being coming back to this sorry excuse of an establishment.

I ordered online, my order is wrong. Again. This is starting to be an every time thing. I ordered double brown rice and what I got was brown rice with with white rice on top of it. The worst part is that I need to eat lower glycemic index foods- doctors orders. So, again, I've wasted money on a meal I'm not going to eat because they just. can't. get. their. orders. right. I used to love this particular store, Che Ho was the manager and everything was always right, he talked to customers and asked what they did and didn't like about that location. I assume he probably went on to another store or different position. Whoever is in charge now is either inept or the people they hire are.

Im not one to write “bad” reviews but this is very necessary. Walking in, I was greeted with a blank stare. As I sat there waiting for my order to get taken, the rude lady at the start of the “line” in which I start my order with, ignored my question, walked over and began doing side work. After a couple minutes, she came back with the same blank look. I started my order and as she began my rice, filled the ladle maybe 1/4 of the full content I’ve received at other establishments. After skimping me of $10 worth of food, I began to check out. I turned away to put my card into my bag and turned back around to ask for a receipt. Another equally rude and less apologetic employee stated “in your bag” and slid my bag across the counter top. I arrived back at my place of work ready to dig into my meal I just wasted time getting and find a small black hair. Disgusting! Do not offer this establishment any of your hard earned money.

At first, I thought they were bothered with my presence. However! As more people walked in, I could confidently say that it was all in my head. They were bothered with everyone who walked in. The food was ok. I asked for lettuce, and she pointed at the empty container and looked back at me disgusted. That was fun. Needless to say, I did not get lettuce.

I love Chipotle, but the Richmond Rd store really pushes that to the limits. I donated blood this morning and needed something to eat. I checked the Chipotle app for store hours, and it said that the Richmond Rd store opened at 10:45. I pulled in just after it should have opened and two people were waiting outside. OK, I can wait a few minutes, so I waited with them. I ended up waiting a half hour for the doors to open. At 10:45 they had told the Door Dash guy that they'd open in 10 minutes, and he called his customer to let them know. So, the Door Dash guy was pretty unhappy when they opened 20 minutes past when they told him they’d open. He knocked on the door loudly at 11:15 and a worker (seemed like a manager) yelled at him as he finally opened the doors for the line of customers to come in and pick up orders or go through the line. While we were outside watching through the window, there were quite a few workers they just weren't in a hurry. Two workers even put together food for themselves, one went to their car, and one ate in the dining room. The two people who were waiting in front of me left since they were on their lunch break and couldn’t wait any longer. I went through the line. The worker had a big smile on his face as I told him what I wanted. That’s good, at least its friendly service. It seemed as if he was waiting for angry comments and frustration. When I got to the cash register to pay, the cashier (manager, same guy who opened the door and yelled at the Door Dash guy) rung me up, no apology, no anything. Many places would at least give a free drink or something to make up for making customers wait outside for 30 minutes (soft drinks cost very little to restaurants so it’s a cheap apology). Nope, nothing. I’ve given up ordering through the app at this location. I usually wait 15-30 minutes (once 45 minutes) past the time I ask for it to be ready. While waiting for my food, I would watch people come in, go through the line, and walk out with their order long before I would ever get mine. So, if you love Chipotle like me and you’re on the east side of Lexington, do yourself a favor and go to the Hamburg store. Don’t waste your time at the Richmond Rd store.

They have a bad habits of not giving accurate potion of order. Whenever I order and pay for double the chicken, I almost never get my double order but they will charge you for it. I’ve ordered from dozens of chipotles locations and this one on Richmond road are the only one that continuously steal portions that customers paid for.
