Jersey Mike's Subs

My wife and I visited this Jersey Mike's location this evening. We ordered two subs and bought two bags of chips as well. The young lady behind the counter confirmed my sub twice, a #17 with no peppers. We paid and went home to eat and unpack the groceries we picked up as well. When I unwrapped my sub, I realized it was made wrong so I called the location. A young woman answered, 'Hello'. I asked if I had the right number and if this was Jersey Mike's. She stated 'yes'. She did not ask if she could help me or anything else. I stated I was just there and I described my order. She stated 'oh yea' and I told her my sub was made wrong. She stated I had three options, I could bring in the sub and they could remake it, she could take a note and I could get a new sub tomorrow or another day, or I could get a refund. I told her that I was looking forward to the sub for dinner so I would bring the sub back and get a new one. I asked her if they could go ahead and make it and I would be there in 5-10 minutes. She agreed to remake it and the call ended. I drove back to the location and walked in. The gentleman who made my sub was at a high-top table with his phone and the young lady who made my order was also at the table. The young lady walked over and greeted me. I put the sub on the counter where you pay and the young lady brought out the new sub. The gentleman looked up from his phone, still sitting at the table, and said, 'We can't take that sub back, you need to throw it away." I told him, "Okay, well, you guys can throw it away." He stated again, "No, we can't touch it now, you need to throw it away". I responded sternly asking, "Then why did you tell me to bring it back?" I do not know if this was a bad night, but all the staff, except the young lady who served us, are running the business unprofessionally and impolitely. We never received an apology for the mistake. We have had Jersey Mikes before at many locations in different states and never experienced this before. The phone call and the experiences in store do not represent Jersey Mike's as a whole and we recommend that people steer clear of this location, especially in the evening time.

Ok let's get the good stuff out the way. Service was good and turkey ham was good. Now I haven't been here for a long time due to the $$. Decided to give it a try and was shocked that the once $10 it cost me was now over $12. No way is this worth that kind on money. I guess I'll stay away again and hope to win the lottery before I waste money like that again. I kinda understand why the whole time I was here No one else even came in to order. I guess they were smarter than me.
