Great loco moco. Seemed like a couple pounds of great eating. Somehow I missed that it was takeout only, so was a bit disappointed we had no place to sit and eat. On our way to the airport so we had to get creative. But the food was awesome. Best I've had in Kauai. The atmosphere only got average because it can only be so good in a parking lot 😁

Tonight, my partner and I ordered dinner there. We had Garlic butter shrimp, Moco Loco, half Smiley’s fried chicken with garlic chili sauce, and half Teriyaki chicken. The order took 20’ and everything was delicious! I recommend not ordering more than two dishes per couple, because the plates are succulent. The best food in Kauai and dishes ate abundant, even “mini” (half) plates.

Wow, wow, wow! The food and service is so great here. Make sure to stop here on your next visit to Kauai. Note: There will likely be a wait for your food but it’s so worth it! This is not a sit down restaurant, it’s walk-up window service only. I got Smileys Chicken: SO CRISPY!!!!!!! Yummy, yummy, yummy!! The entree comes with white rice and macaroni salad. I asked for the garlic sauce to be on the side (I’m a dipper lol) and it was so good. They use fresh garlic so the flavor is rich with a little bit of heat. I also ordered a side of Kalua pork which was tender and had lots of smokey flavor. 10/10 I will be returning!

Our last night in Kauai, and we found the best food on the island. Literally inhaled every bite, it was some of the most flavorful, authentic, worth every penny kind of food. We ordered at the window and ate on our tailgate with our kiddos who also were thoroughly impressed. We had the Loco Moco, Smileys chicken, and an incredible combo plate. We can’t wait to come back next year! 5 stars isn’t nearly enough.. It's 2023... and we came back. It's still everything and more. The flavor and simplicity is still all that we hoped for. Wish they could come with us to Oregon.

It is not a dine in place. You order and pick up from a window. I got the idea of trying out this place from a friend and ordered their Grilled Chicken Salad. It had a lot going on but in a great way! Aside from greens, it had the grilled chicken (very tasty by the way), croutons, tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, guacamole on the side and topped with sprouts. Then it came with a generous amount of what I believe was Oriental dressing. It was Awesome and totally something I would go back for again. They also have a menu full of various types of foods to pick from that makes me wanna come back and try. Check them out!! 😉😋👍🎉

This local place was recommended by our rental car company. There’s no inside seating but the food was amazing. We ate in our car and the plate lunches were excellent. Teriyaki chicken and a garlic chili chicken were the two plates we bought. We wish they would provide more macaroni salad, but it was excellent food! Definitely where the locals eat.
