Larkburger

Don't buy a salad! I should have known not to order one at a burger place, but it looked good on the menu. The salad cost $9.99 and it was a terrible value. It was a handful of romaine lettuce, couple slices of bacon, onion, tomato, and about 1/8th of an avocado (all of it fit on the end of a fork.. Some might criticize me for not talking to the manager before posting a review, but I am a customer not quality control. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. That said, I won't be going back.

I had never heard of Larkburger until I moved to Denver. This place has been consistent every time I've ordered there, and the manager was the one who constantly came into my job encouraging me to try the food. Not sure if that guy still works there, but he made sure I chose the best burger, and I've been sticking with that one since. If you like burgers, give them a go!

We came in at 6:40. Ordered just fine, but recieved no receipt. 40 minutes later, with only 12 people seated (as seen in my photos), we all had still not recieved our food. It became quite apparent that they were understaffed or lacked experience in the kitchen. The person ordering (also cooking) was beginning to turn people away who wanted to order, claiming that they were "behind in the kitchen" and that they were "caught by suprise" Finally, our food came and was nothing close to what we ordered. Neither did any of the other customer's. Multiple times, we watched people walking up to the counter, complaining about their RARE burgers. They were turned away claiming that is "standard". Finally, we finished our bad food and left as well as a family that noticed the chaos, got a refund and decided to spend their money elsewhere. I don't blame them. In the past we've had great experiences, but lately the service and food quality has plunged. They should've known to expect more than 2 people for a DINNER service. By far one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. We will never return. McDonald's is better than this!

The burger was good, delicious even but for this price, it should be way above average. What killed us was the service. I'd ordered the burgers ahead online, very impressed by their system, and got there on time to check in and get our food. And they had it out pretty quickly and they were big fat juicy burgers (one chicken, he said it was just ok). When I realized I'd not ordered fries, got in line and paid $4.00 for the fancy fries and tipped the kid a couple bucks. We ate our lunch and at the end, still no fries. While we sat there, another guy went to the counter and demanded his money back, claiming he'd waited 20 minutes for two burgers. The place was nearly dead, no one in line, very few tables in use. I'd hate to go there at peak time. Better revisit your system and cashier help, not sure if one or both are the problem.

Hadn't heard great things about Larkburger but figured it was worth checking out. Cashier was super friendly. I made the mistake of ordering their new crispy chicken burger. The chicken was dry, the batter was hard as a rock, and it was overall pretty flavorless. I probably should've put some sauce on it. But whatever, my fault for ordering chicken at a burger joint. Fries were ok. Lot of weird tension in the air. Most of the customers came off as whiny and entitled, but in my experience that's pretty typical of the people who live in that part of town. Can't say I recommend paying $8+ for one of their burgers but maybe I'll actually try one next time and see how it goes.

What a disappointment this place has become. They have ruined a great thing with a complete lack basic cleanliness and food quality. Every table was filthy at 6 pm with few customers and a lot of staff doing nothing. The condiment area was disgusting with spills and discarded lids etc all over the counter. I had to laugh when several employees came over and poured drinks leaving the mess in place. If it's this nasty out front I can't imagine what the back is like. Not comfortable eating here anymore.

Great food! Service was a little on the slow side. Someone from the back kitchen berated someone at the register for not keeping a clean register area. It was loud enough we heard it from the back. Anyways, this is one of my favorite burger places and they have Tots now! The truffle parmesan Tots are the best!

Okay food, not clean, many items on menu unavailable. The food is about as good as your average fast food burger place. The girl at the cash register openly admitted to me that 5 things on the menu weren't even available. To top it off, the place wasn't clean and it was dead empty. Of you don't have customers, your place should be spotless. Next time I'm just going to Wendy's in the same parking lot.
