Brad's Pit Bbq

True score: 3.75/5 What I had: pulled pork sammich, dill picks, chopped onions, creamy slaw, and sweet+spicy BBQ sauce. The pork: not too warm, but tender and seasoned well. Juicy and chopped finely. The experience: that pork was piled too high to construct a proper, holdable sandwich. I NEED to be able to pick her up and put her down without a total landslide into my lap. So I had to do some food-scaping. Sauce on both buns a must. The sweet and spicy sneaks up on you, and the combo of ingredients on with the creamy slaw and crisp, thick dill chips was terrific. Wish the meat was hotter. The brioche bun they slapped that pork on is fantastic as well. It had the structural integrity and toasted butteryness to handle the meat mass smashed betwixt its halves. My side: Mac bites. 3/5. I LOVE basic b*tch Kraft Mac. I do. The triangles were fried perfectly and even seasoned. Had the Mac carried some homemade elements, they, too, could have been a 5/5. But alas, the salty shapes sucked the moisture out of my mouth like a shop vac, so a dunk in some sauce is recommended. Service: 4/5. QR code menu, reasonable wait time given the traffic at 2pm and a one-man expediter on a Monday Holiday.

Went to Locavore for some beers and thought we'd have some nachos from Brad's Pit BBQ. The nachos were delivered after 43 minutes and nothing was said about the outrageous time it took to make nachos. They were cold and disappointing. It's nachos not too hard to make but we won't be eating there again. We'll bring food in from somewhere else next time at Locavore.
