Columbine Gardens

The Gardens staff and administration have been wonderful to our family and my mother. They are caring and considerate and we especially love how they have communicated often with our family. From the beginning tour withGrace, to moving and settling Mom in about 6 months ago, we have been pleased. Costs are transparent, nurses have been available for consultation,etc. The Gardens’ is a beautiful friendly place if your parent needs assistance with daily living that you are not able to provide, or if they desire independence but need a loving community.

If you have a family member who needs to live in a memory care facility, this is the place to bring them. My mother lived there for three years and she was cared for as if she was their own grandmother. The staff has such compassion and caring for the residents. They do activities each day with the residents. They are responsive to questions and/or concerns from families and welcome their input with regards to the resident. This facility has a family feel, not a corporate vibe. Mom had the best care here and I am eternally grateful for that.

I worked for the Gardens for almost 2 years, and I was so impressed by the management! They worked overtime to compensate employees and promote teamwork. My coworkers too went above and beyond: our saying during shift was: "Teamwork makes the DREAMWORK." And that translated to the best possible experience for the residents. Place your loved one here, and it will be the best decision you could make!

I worked for the gardens for about 1 year and half and loved my job up until the pandemic. Management has seemed to really stop caring about the wellbeing of their employees leaving them overwhelmingly understaffed and refusing to compensate their workers for being paid what they TRULY deserve. *If there’s one caregiver for the whole building and all the QMAPS are scrambling around stepping away from their meds, it’s only right that we should get the “short shift” pay. However, the evening shift was highly favored when it comes to this unlike morning shift unfortunately. Kacy was a great boss to me, very understanding and helpful and I have nothing but good to say about her. However, the overall chaotic dysfunction of upper management is horrible and unfortunately the ones that suffer the most are the residents. Get up off your desks and help your caregivers and nurses. This company could really use a director of nursing given the lack of organization/structure in overall health services team.

This place makes me want to book a reservation now for when I need assisted living facilities. Beautiful gardens, immensely friendly staff, the Gardens proves time and again how much they care for their seniors. Even during Covid lockdown and quarantine, even when they lacked staff, everyone at the Gardens put in that extra effort to ensure that all tenants could still enjoy daily life during this difficult time. I cannot have enough words to praise the Gardens!
