What's Cooking?

Had an early dinner here with my bf and we really enjoyed the place. The hot dog pulled pork was so savoury! The portion sizes are odd as the hot dog is so big while the bacon hamburger was just about fine. Fudge cake was really nice, a bit too much syrup on the plate (that's my opinion in any case). Lovely service +++

Really great restaurant, went for my sons 8th birthday. Staff were friendly, helpful and kind to kids. When my cocktail was knocked over by my daughter, I got a free refill. Food was really well prepared and tasty, plenty of choice for the kids and a decent choice for adults within the constraints of the restaurants genre.

Having tried two other restaurants (Miller and Carter and another) and being turned away (very dismissively from M&K) from even eating outside, as we had the dog with us, this restaurant couldn't have been more helpful. The outside tables had heaters and an excellent view over the dock and beyond. The food was lovely, service friendly and overall we had a very positive experience.

A great place! My partner, my mother, and I dined here on Saturday and had a wonderful meal with great service. We started with the sharer nachos which were a brilliant way to start the meal, very tasty and great value for money. The “Easy Brie-zy Burger” and the “Yankee Burger” tasted as good as they looked, and the Chilli was, as my mother put it “as good as [she] remembers it from all those years ago” when she was in her 20s. We were served by the lovely Sherin, who happily gave us recommendations and was very knowledgeable of the menu. The service was a standout! Overall a splendid experience!
