Rhubarb

Went here on Sunday 14th Jan at about noon, place was quite busy. We were able to get a table for 3, constant stream of customers coming but some were turned away as no tables available. Staff seated us quickly and within a few mins came for our drinks order, returned just a few minutes later with the drinks. Took our food order and again wasn't too long before they returned with our food (drinks were still piping hot). We had burger and fries, posh eggs and black pudding stack (mine), other food looked really nice and good quality. Mine was delicious, kept nice and warm with a hot plate, food was great quality. About £12 per person for 3 drinks and 3 meals. I would highly recommend coming here, good service, really friendly, polite and professional staff. I will be coming back here again, really nice experience.

Have been many times and always enjoyed the food but today the breakfast i had certainly wasn't up to scratch, very disappointed. My own fault i should have complained at the time. Trust it will be better on my next visit. Apart from the poached egg i think everything else had been warmed up. Like the place and have been going for years.🤞

***FIRST CLASS*** Food was outstanding. We both had the steak sandwich and the steak was perfect. Our daughter had the kids menu of sausage and peas and the portion was spot on. Our food was slightly late and they handled it fantastically. The service was EXCELLENT and could not do enough for us. Highly recommended and thank you.

We came here this Sunday and couldn't be happier for the choice we made! Let's start by saying is a beautiful place and very nice location, inside is very cute and the service was great, coffee was fabulous, big cup of coffee with a biscuit, the food was super tasty! We had smoke salmon bagel, and eggs Benedicts, everything lovely. The price is reasonable for the quality of the food, is not ordinary bar food, they actually make an effort preparing it, something we loved. The bathrooms where very clean, definitely we will be back, plus it's a great place to have a brunch on a Sunday and then go for a walk in the park, perfect idea to spend the day.

Absolutely amazing brunch dishes, we where a party of 3 with each one ordering a different dish one full breakfast fry🥓 a posh eggs 🍳for myself and a club sandwich🥪 for the daughter all came beautifully cooked and well plated. Generous portions for all, my daughter of course couldn't finish 🙄 so straight away the attentive staff offered to put in to a takeaway box which was greatly appreciated by my daughter (a student ) which doesnt like waste 😊 all cooked to perfection, along with his fry came the speciality of rhubarb diced potatoes which absolutely delicious never have tasted such beautiful potatoes that blended so well with fry, I will be ordering them as a side dish in future visits as I was definitely jealous of not having the pleasure of a portion of them to myself so value taste and service definitely 5/5 💥💥
