Great selection of drinks and knowledgeable bar staff who are happy to suggest options and tell you about the beer. Lovely back room with video game character decorations, board games, pool and shuffleboard. Well decorated and tons of seating for groups of all sizes, always happy to pop in here for a pint since it's so central in Liverpool too, 2min walk from Liverpool Central station.

We got here at 6:30 on a Tuesday with 3 children. We were worried we wouldn’t get served this late, it was no problem to them at all. The kids portions were large. The bar person said she could live off them alone 😃 I would highly recommend this place. The food selection was great, the beer selection even better.

Resently retired, I organised a get together at the H O S 23rd March 2024. Many came along and each commented on how good the staff are and such a great atmosphere in the place. Very much recommend a visit. Danielle's management of the place shines through. Also a really nice person to talk too. I'll pop in for a meal in the future. I'm sure that will also be top quality.

We visited for the first time in a few months. I had a lovely pint of titanic plum porter. Which was served by John, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. I also had the pleasure of meeting Jade, who was very friendly. We will definitely be coming back very soon. This is not only the great pint but the great service we received from Jade and John.

I was meeting up with a friend on the weekend and decided to try this bar. Upon entering and being greeted at the bar by a staff member called Gina we asked about a few of the different drinks on selection. Though the bar was busy Gina never made us feel rushed and gave us her entire attention while telling us about the different beverages. One drink turned into a few as the service and collection of different drinks interested my friend and I. Each time we returned to the bar Gina welcomed us and continued to show exceptional service. Will definitely be returning at some stage in the future.

Great options for craft beer lovers. Good food menu (although extremely limited for gluten intolerances), vegetarian friendly. The bar staff are friendly. We watched the football here and it was a good atmosphere. There were girls out for lunch, lads watching the game and everyone in between, very inclusive and not just solely focused on the sports. Dog friendly.
