Absolutely loved my experience at the Bear and Staff! The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Zawad's talent was evident in every dish. The fish and chips were crispy perfection, and the salad was so fresh. Will definitely be back for more!

Had a lovely meal with a friend this evening the place has a really good atmosphere, we had a lovely young lady waiting at our table, nothing was too much trouble.
Only second time I've revisited as it has had a number of managers and wasn't great, but this manager has sorted the place 👏👏👏

Beautifully made food, we had the mixed grill and the sauces were astounding, the chips were fantastic, and the meat was seasoned wonderfully. Even better than the food though, was the service! Our server Britney was friendly, always around to help, and genuinely a great server.

Come here once a month for tea with friends and every Saturday for drinks. Service tonight for meal 27th Ellen & Josh fab service, very attentive , friendly. Atmosphere in pub warm & friendly all staff welcoming and great service. It’s a little gem of a pub love it.

Had a Lovely 3 course lunch there other day, a treat off my Friend for my Birthday.
Food was Lovely, service really good, 2 lads serving where pleasant am friendly.
The only downfall was, it was a freezing cold day an we sat by fire, asked for it to be lit an the reply was we have no wood. If they had the heating on it was on very low, kinda unbearable by the end, people around us complained of cold an sat with hats & scarfs on. When we left, it felt warmer outside than in.
I would go back as everything else was fine, just turn the heating up a bit more or get some wood, to make it a more enjoyable service.

Staff let us in without a reservation which was nice.
The mixed grill, garlic mushrooms, cherry bakewell and sea bass with scallops were boss.
Dan served us and couldn't do enough to help us or make us feel more welcome.

Very nice, excellent food, we called in after one of our customers recommend it to us and we were not disappointed with the quality.

Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff in a newly refurbished and very nice looking place.
Food was awesome, packed with flavour and well presented. Belly pork just melted in the mouth and the chips were lovely and hot with a nice crunch. Good dessert selection too, we had the sharing dessert which was like the mains, well presented and packed full of flavour.
Nice pint as well.
Social distancing measures all in place and very clear.
Highly recommended. We would definitely go again.
