Pizza Express

We came here on Sunday after a long day at Comic Con, two adults and five hungry teenagers. We were lucky to be seated. Service was good, food was good - a little more expensive than I remember (but to be frank my last Pizza Express meal was over a decade ago!). Not the absolute best pizza I've ever had, but tasty and certainly filled a hole! I had the Padana which was delicious. Nduja calzone was a firm favourite amongst the boys. Husband liked the American Hottest but I think we both agreed it could be hotter!

My new favourite Pizza Express! Before I visited here, my favourite PE was always Hong Kong Airport but that closed a few years back so I've been hoping to find another just as good. This is definitely it! Don't get me wrong, I've not been visiting them all but this one stood out in particular for me. I visited on a busy night where they had a block booking of 48! But the staff were flying and honestly didn't stop for a second. I was greeted well, served promptly and felt just as valued as a lone diner as did the huge table of 48. The food is the food and it's always good but, in my mind, it is the people who make the place and this place was brilliant.

I absolutely LOVE all the food and the atmosphere in Pizzaexpress. I went to Pizza express yesterday with some of my friends and family and it was absolutely fabulous! The staff were extremely nice and quite funny. Even though it was a Saturday night and town was quite busy we were able to get a seated quite quickly and the speed of the food arrival was great. The food was all delicious as well. We ordered a bowl of dough balls and had to order another bowl when the mains came because they were so delicious!😋 I also had the Bruschetta which was very tasty as well. Thank you PizzaExpress for a wonderful evening.

Visited with my wife and two kids for a late lunch and was absolutely fantastic. Joao and the team couldn't do enough for us, even happily accommodating our requests for items that hadn't been on the menu for years!! Atmosphere in the restaurant was fantastic as well, just what was needed after a morning shopping.

Myself and my family had a wonderful meal in Pizza Express Liverpool One on our first night in Liverpool. I was delighted to see they had such an extensive gluten free menu! Our service Sadie was superb, and went above and beyond for us during our visit. From food recommendations, to ensuring my little boy (almost 2) was looked after - she even filled his water bottle for us instead of a cup (which I can guarantee would have gone everywhere!). Sadie then packed up our dessert as we needed to get the little man back to bed. Sadie has genuinely been the nicest server I have ever met and would be the main reason we would return/recommend. The food was delicious, between 5 of us we had pizza, lasagne and pasta, all of which came quite quick to our table and can honestly say we enjoyed every bite.

This pizza express is based at the top of Liverpool one with a load of other restaurants. You can make a reservation to secure a table or you are able to walk in and see what they have available when you are ready. I visited with a party of 4 and as you can see the table we were placed on was only very small so if you would like a bigger table I would suggest making a reservation. The restaurant was very busy when we visited and there is not much space between tables so this might be something to think about. The staff are friendly and will check into make sure everything is ok. The food did not take to long to arrive and was delicious. I would like to visit again in the future.
