Lovely food lovely staff and plenty of tables inside and out. Prices could seem a little on the high side, but the quality is good.

Lovely place. Great food. Nice staff. Dog friendly. We arrived at lunch time on a Saturday but still got a table.

Full English breakfast was very nice, coffee really good, nice relaxed atmosphere, set us up for a walk round the grounds and the house

Only had coffee which was good so I can't comment on the food. Staff friendly and helpful but we were left standing at first because they were too busy chatting.

Update Oct 2023 - arrived after 2 so missed most of the hot food options, but managed to get a beef Croque that was nice.
Always good to get a walk along the bund and see the Welsh mountains calling me.
Friendly staff, lovely food, and great that they serve traditional local dishes too (scouse, wet nelly)
