My grandfather and his parents lived nearby and must have drank regularly in here. A very poignant occasion being here.

Had a funeral here just want to thank all the bar staff and the catering staff for a great afternoon after sending our Brother Tony on his final journey it was a great atmosphere and every one complemented how much they enjoyed the food it was amazing couldn't give it less than 5⭐ thank you from all the family and friends who attended

Discovered by accident. We had rented a b&b next door. Was a perfect little place to enjoy a quiet beer or gin. Had a few chats with the owner as well.. great place. Hello from your Canadian friends.

Came across this pub by chance walking back from the city centre to our hotel. Had a few drinks on the Saturday night with the other half and we both really enjoyed it, that much so we went back on the Sunday night. It's what we both call a locals pub, friendly staff and the beer was good to and the locals having plenty of banter will definitely be going back next time we're up.
