Turncoat Bar

Hidden away in the cellar beneath The Albert Dock, an amazing bar and pizza restaurant. Locally distilled gins, craft beer by Purity Brewing, a great range of cocktails, alcoholic and non. Delicious wood fired pizza, salads, garlic bread and nibbles. Much better than the offerings at Gusto, which also could not seat us for 3 hours! Come on Liverpool, get down here, far too good to be this quiet.

Stopped by for a drink. Enjoyed the overall decor and appearance with its focus on the beautiful structures of the Albert Dock. I'm not a tremendous fan of gin so I took a Tennesse Cup, which was reasonably well balanced there just wasn't that much of it! Would certainly try out the food here in future. Worth a stop off for a drink - there is something enjoyable about going below street level for a drink

Incredible place with a good amount of outdoor seating. This is my first time here and I'd definitely go back. Perfect for summer and being able to sit next to the water/albert dock taking in the scenery! Great selection of drinks and food. The young girl on the bar was so helpful and recommended a few beers/ciders and I was not disappointed. I went for her first choice which was draft budwiser which was more pure. My friend got a fruity cider. We ordered food- Margarita pizza and cheesy garlic bread both where freshly made & cooked in their pizza oven. This bar has a limited menu on the outdoor seating but if you look at the menu ontop of the stairs theirs more choices. The toilets were spotless with relaxing paintings of Liverpool. Both CASH & CARD are accepted.

What a brilliant find! Stumbled across this place when looking for somewhere to eat before Strictly Live show at the Arena. We we're going to go Pizza Express but it was booked up (luckily, as it turned out). Massive delicious pizza + a beer for a tenner (this was on a Thurs night), nice atmosphere, amazing service. Would deffo go back - and recommend.
