Trunk Lounge

We stopped here after my daughter’s graduation 👩‍🎓 on Friday 29th April 2022. We didn’t have a booking but were so delighted to find it as it completed our day in the best way ever. The staff made sure everyone’s table was just right for them, moving ours to a lovely sunny spot and making us welcome from the start. Lovely location and buzzing vibe. The food was absolutely lovely (we all chose from the daytime £10 tapas deal - every dish was delicious and it was so reasonably priced!). Would like to thank them for making our day! Will definitely visit again and recommend to anyone.

I'd had this point been here twice and it was two different experiences. Some staff I recognised but I wasn't served (hate that word) attended to by the same staff. The first time we got all the tapas we could both my cousin and I had made sure we tried all we could I have to say the popcorn chicken (now off the menu was my favourite) closely followed by the ribs. I am known as a pest for questions as fomo is a real thing to me and the staff answered the questions well. I on my 2nd visit had breakfast. The breakfast was lovely a little cold so when I spoke to who I thought was the manager he took my constructive feedback kindly and we had a nice chat. I was gutted when I had to leave as I found it peaceful sitting in my tub chair, watching the world go by with my almond milk latte

Not one for sharing reviews but had to share for this amazing place. Whenever we come to Liverpool it is the first and last place we visit ..the highlight of our stay. Maybe now will be the reason for our visit. The food, the atmosphere the staff are amazing. How we wish you would open in York too.

(written when this was Silk Road) Popped in this afternoon for a light early dinner and very glad we did. Lovely welcome from friendly happy staff, nice decor, clean and comfortable. We got 3 dishes each from the 3 for £12 each menu and each one was delicious, we chose an eclectic mix but they all went really well together. Nice to be able to have dishes from different cuisines all together :) Everything was delicately flavoured and tasty, and as always with tapas you think you haven't ordered enough but you're soon stuffed! Would love to have had one of the delicious looking desserts but couldn't fit one in. Next time!
