Blackdoor Bar & Bistro

Went in Yesterday. The large breakfast was amazing, loved the poached eggs in particular. The eggs Benedict was a bit lacking in flavour (the sauce) but thats a constructive comment as the quality of the food is really good. Bit of a long wait but we could see you were busy. Servers were lovely, don't worry about the dropping of plates, as it happens.

Definitely the best place for food in West Derby and possibly The best breakfast in Liverpool here. Staff are always so friendly welcoming and just so natural not forced. I've been a few times now and each time has been perfect. The salt and pepper halloumi burger is my favourite. I've got 5 fussy daughters and they haven't come up with a single fault here. One of my girls no longer lives in Liverpool but when she comes to visit Blackdoor is the place she chooses to go to.

Just having a full English as I type. It is probably one of the nicest I have EVER had. The food is cooked to perfection: 2 x proper meaty sausages (not the cheap ones you are often served) 2 x beautiful lean bacon 2 x fried eggs 1 x flat mushroom 1 x black pudding 1 x grilled tomato 1 x portion of Heinz beans 2 x rounds of buttered thick toast The food was lovely prepared and plated. The venue has a really nice vibe and it is spotless and clean. You can see through to the kitchens and they are pristine. The staff are really attentive and are pleasant. They have lovely smart uniforms I think I have found our new go-to place..
