Pho Lee

I'm sorry to say that I have take my rating down by quite a bit. The food here is great but the service is usually mediocre at best and today was downright bad. The servers who always seem to be new are generally friendly, but they never check in once your food is served. I have attributed this to poor training and not knowing any better, which is excusable. But today, the item i typically order, with a special request to be served in a bowl, was denied. When the food came it was beautiful and ended up being served in a dish that was more bowl than plate, which was good. However, it was dead cold. I tried to eat a couple of bites but just couldn't do it. I have ordered the same dish at this restaurant dozens of times and it has always been hot and delicious. The owner accosted me and stated that if I wanted hot food I should order the soup. That the dish I ordered has cold noodles, that that was what I ordered and was reluctant to take it back. I told her I had been there numerous times and it had always been hot. The second one was hot and perfect. I won't be going back again however as the owner doesn't understand proper service, customer service and clearly doesn't aporeciate my business. Maybe one day she will learn why her business is declining. They also charged us for the tea, which was a first there, although it was only $2.

Not many vietnamese restaurants offer XL size for pho but don't be fooled. The XL costs a lot, most expensive bowl of pho I've had, but it is smaller than most of the large size bowls of other places. The taste doesn't justify the pricing either. The sizzling plate was also very expensive. I had a sizzling plate 2 days ago at a premium chinese restaurant that made up for the price with a large portion but again the plate is bit smaller here with an even higher price tag. The food isn't bad but it is a lot more overpriced here than usual. The curry was good

This is my go to for Vietnamese cuisine! I took my family for dinner here the other night and had a great experience, as always. The server was attentive and checked up on us to ensure we had everything we needed. My favourite dishes are the pho and bun bo hue. The broth is extremely flavourful and beef is very tender. Spring rolls and deep fried wontons are always a must —they’re perfectly crispy and delicious! I’m here at least once a week because there’s so much variety and everything is definitely worth trying!

Not a bad place for pho and other Vietnamese, Thai staples. Their pho broth tasted a bit more bone marrowy which isn't a bad thing. Their own flavour for sure. I loved that they use the smaller sized noodles for their soups and stir frys. Portion to dollar ratio is okay. XL didn't seem like an XL but that's just me. Only thing I didn't really like was their pad thai. It had a more "ketchup" flavour than most places. Not as big as other places either. Overall, not bad Vietnamese-Thai place.
